FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

It's mind-boggling that he still technically has like 4 years before he hits what is typically a player's prime.

Is this typical of Stanton's plate discipline? The last two strikeout pitches in his at-bats were HORRIBLE.

2-game win streak! Braves obvious final record will be 153-9. So excited to watch it unfold.

The Marlins must be so mad right now.

Watching Justin Verlander struggle is so heartbreaking to me.

He adjusted well, just the 3 runs in the first and then 8 strikeouts in 6 innings. It hasn't been a promising start to the year, but I'm not panicking yet. Though he's certainly not the same guy he was 09-12, and might not be again.

I think Verlander has done better at figuring out how to pitch without heat than Sabathia has done. It's painful to watch C.C. I haven't really seen Verlander's stats the last few years though.

Post ASB last year, Verlander has been good. Not his old self. He'll never be that again. But two home runs in a game is bad, to me. Just a bad outing (inning) today. Can't complain too much, though. He turned it around.

I don't even know what's happening, but the Braves are...enjoyable to watch this weekend??? I'm confused, but happy.

I think they were just trolling us for the 1st 9 games haha I keep hearing they're probably going to trade Markakis though? I will never fully understand trading strategies.

I really hope they don't trade him. He's about 90% of the reason this team is watchable right now, and I just love his game. Big fan.

I'm a huge fan, too. He is pretty consistent for the most part and I appreciate that. Freddie needs to get it together. I know he normally has a slump here and there but I don't recall it ever being this early in the season. I'm not sure what his batting average is after yesterday but it was .080 and that is pathetic!

It's .125, which is still bad, but he's coming around. I think one thing that's causing the slump is his wrist issues in the offseason. He didn't get a lot of work in before the season, so there's going to be a slight adjustment. He's starting to make solid contact though, so that's a good sign.

I read somewhere that Mallex Smith is the slowest person in his family and they trained him so he wouldn't embarrass them by being slow haha I think his sisters are track stars or something. I can't remember if that last part is right.

I think he'll come around. He was a .300 hitter in minor league, which I know doesn't mean much, but he seems to be trying to do too much right now. Hopefully he settles in.

I agree, I also think they put a bit of pressure on him by having him leadoff right away. Probably better suited at the 8th spot in the lineup for now, until he gets comfortable. He will probably go back down when Inciarte comes back.

I'm not entirely convinced Martin Prado and Victor Martinez aren't the same person.
