because obv im joking this album is phenomenal

 

why wouldnt you expect her to be a fan of that band? its not like theyre obscure or anything and shes talked about them dozens of times

Honestly, I haven't been able to listen yet, but I fully expect this to be nothing short of incredible

 

I don't really follow her or them that carefully I guess haha. They're not necessarily a *small* band but they're definitely a lot smaller and more niche than a band like Paramore, and not really similar stylistically in any way... like if Pete Wentz or Brendon Urie said mwY was their favorite band I'd be equally surprised lol. Just random thoughts, don't mind me.

 

Never been able to get into Paramore, but I usually give their new stuff a chance. Still just haven't been able to get this to click. It kind of reminds me of what Rilo Kiley tried to do with Under The Blacklight (which didn't work out so great either).

I actually hear this especially in the chorus which explains why I lost my mind @ it the first time I heard it

 

No no, more like two worlds of music I didn't expect to connect I suppose lol... I guess it should be more obvious to me that the type of music someone makes doesn't necessarily mean they won't love artists that have no connection to the type of music they make lol.

 

Also this will probably pain you to read but I haven't really been able to get into mwY despite many attempts recently, so yeah... not a band I would be snobby about in any case

(Also my girlfriend has WAY better and more obscure music taste than myself, believe me I would never assume someone wouldn't like a certain artist/band because of their gender.)

 

I do hope that they try to upload a version without skips
