When it comes to Newco Rangers, do people class it as the same club? Do they maintain their claim on Oldco's trophies? Is this right?

From what I've gathered, most people equate them and let them claim the old trophies. However, Celtic fans will take every opportunity to remind you this is not the case.

 

This is one of those vernacular differences between y'alls English and ours, but I'm legit not sure if the use of twat is alright in the "trying to remove sexist language" portion of the website. I think this operates in the same way as bitch, in that it walks a fine line. That being said, knowing cultural differences and usage stuff, this is on the right side of line?
