I'm going to get back to my Korok seed hunt after the DLC comes out. The Korok mask and Heroes Path should be a big help.

 

I loved Infinite but have started and stopped 1 a hundred times. Just started again yesterday though, maybe it'll stick this time.

 

You should be. Bioshock was one of those games where you might have expectations, and think that like many other rpg games you repeat and run through, but you will have them exceeded. The gameplay never gets stale, the fights never get stale, the story is intriguing and fun. It's also funny, creepy, suspenseful, loaded with collectables and hidden rooms... I could go on forever.

 

Weird that I was only able to find one review of Prey thus far. IGN, EA, and Polygon don't have one up yet. GI gave it a 8.25 though which is good.

 

Reviewers got it on release date thanks to Bethesda's terrible policy.

 

Ah. I remember that happening with Doom, and Dishonored 2 as well.

 

Bummed for people who are sleeping on Horizon because of Zelda. My buddy recently finished Zelda, so I told him to go through Persona 5 as a palette cleanser before coming back to Horizon. I'll probably look to pick up a Switch and Zelda in a month and a half for my birthday. Will probably be around the time I finish Persona myself.

 

So, I'm in a similar position. I really want a Switch, but I just can't justify a combined ~£330 for the console and a game. If I could get both for like £250 or so, I'd absolutely jump at it. Reckon its going to be Christmas by the time that happens? Or even after?

 

Re the Horizelda question (Horizon: Zelda Dawn?), I'm totally torn between the two. Visually, I think they're a wash; BotW gets the nod in terms of gameplay ingenuity; Horizon gets the nod on combat; Hyrule was more immersive and fun to explore than whatever parts of central American Horizon was, though exploring said parts of central America was still awesome; Horizon's story absolutely blows BotW's out of the water, but character-wise, Zelda was far and away my favourite of the entire lot.

I know that's kind of a simplistic breakdown, but... meh.

 

Yeah, Persona 5 is a big palette cleanser, ha. I do plan on coming back to Horizon at some point.

 

That's similar to my plan going forward. I went from Horizon to Kingdom Hearts, but I'm nearing the end of that and will probably go either P5/Nier next before I really think about getting a Switch (which would be my first ever Nintendo non-handheld console, which is wild to think about).

 

Welllllll technically the switch is a handheld *nerd voice*

 

I'll probably pick up a Switch around Christmas the more I think about. Maybe they'll have a bundle with Zelda and Mario Odyssey for like 400.

 

I have Zelda and Mario Kart 8 on WiiU. So I'm holding off on the Switch until Mario comes out. I have more than enough PS4 games to keep me busy until then

My wife actually bought me Mario Kart 8 Deluxe when she was at Target the other day. She just assumed I had the Switch because in the 15 years we've been married, I've picked up every other Nintendo console at launch. I still need to go return that haha. God bless her.

I see. Well, I get the charge when it officially ships, which can be 1-2 before release day or on, depending on if they have it at a location near me. When they ship me preordered games is a bit all over the placer; most usually the night before with same-day delivery so I get the game on time.

 

Never played Black Ops 3 but looks like I'll have to now
