I mean. Its a show being put on by the network. They are the reason this happened. So i would figure they are liable

 

Probably be harder to make a case stick on WWE, but, unsafe work environment, etc would probably be enough to get a settlement. He's working for WWE, even if Titus technically isnt, and its a WWE production.

Titus would be primary liability though

 

I hate that I read "Titus O'Neil abuse lawsuit" and was pleasantly shocked to see it wasn't against a spouse/woman.

What time does RAW start taping today? I feel like absolute shit today so I'm planning on going to sleep early instead of getting hooked and staying up past like, 10. Thus, I don't really care about spoilers/want to just follow along to make the last few hours of my day go by quicker

I believe it starts taping at 2pm ET. Im sure a bunch of the wrestling blogs will have live threads going when it starts up

 

I'm hoping they use Alestair Black on one of the shows. He'll probably just end up in a dark match, but it'd be fucking dope to hear his song and have that entrance on WWE tv.

I know basically nothing of NJPW, but I'm going to follow BOSJ this year and saw that they do some nights on a tape delay. Some people in the comments thread were annoyed that those are hardcam only with no commentary... I think it's awesome. Wish WWE would utilize the Network like that sometimes.

 

You are in for a treat. If you want to familiarize yourself with some of the guys involved, Volador, Dragon Lee, Takahashi, and Kushida are guys to check out. I'm sure you are familiar with some of the other indie guys.

I don't think I'd be into them airing house shows on the network unless it were something like early King of the Ring matches.

 

Yeah, I'm super familiar with all of the non-native talent, but am going in blind on the Japanese guys and am pumped. Have heard a ton of praise for Dragon Lee.

I get why WWE wouldn't stream house shows. It would expose the repetitive nature of things, and break the kayfabe immersion of "THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN WAITING ALL WEEK TO GET THEIR HANDS ON EACH OTHER", etc. Even harder to get someone to watch Orton v. Jinder if they can watch one of ten dollar store house show versions on the network. I think there is a lot to be gained from airing some of the B-string NXT shows though, a lot of talent on those that only get a few minutes a month on the weekly eps.

This match was pretty dope. I think @oldjersey and I were laughing our asses off at how bad Dragon Lee is at understanding tag team matches the entire time.

 

I forgot how much I enjoyed that Supercard of Honor match.

They're pretty much all 8v8 fun tag team matches at house shows I'd take it. TheY probably usually get a little ring time post match for whatever they want.

Looks like thats only technically true, in that when they are on the same team they win...but, they've never actually wrestled a house show as just the 2 of them this year. They've done 6 and 8 man tags, adding Axel and/or Darren Young. And at a house show, the faces are gonna go over the Shining Stars + Titus or Bo
