    If you want to add a little extra character to something that is already cheesy parm is perfect. Mac and Cheese, Grilled Cheese, pizza, peorgies, ect. Parm works great for all of it.

    As an Italian American i'll say that Ricotta is the GOAT cheese to put in dishes and it's not even close. Like i could eat entire tub of Ricotta by itself.

    My grandma would put Ricotta either in or on the side for almost everything.
     
  9. I made the self discovery way too late in life that I love ricotta. Always knew I liked it but it wasn’t until I was probably like 27 before realizing it’s lowkey the best and so versatile

  15. I’ve definitely taken that gamble of not recognizing an ingredient in a meal and just going for it anyway lol. It usually works out, I’m not that picky. I’ll never forget the huge L I took on taking that risk with kimchi though. I grew to like it eventually but that first time was NOT the vibe

    I drink pumpkin spice coffee year round and I love it. Sometimes I'll switch it up with blueberry, though.

    Like I see a bunch of homeade Mac and cheese recipes and other savory recipes that say to top with nutmeg and that just ruins it for me

    I understand respecting other country's culinary traditions or whatever, but baked beans for breakfast is weird and will never not be weird. Sorry Brits.

    I've heard British people say PB&J is weird when you weirdos eat BBQ sides with your eggs in the morning.

    This is kind of why I hate Cincinnati style Chili. It's not even the chili with spaghetti thing, it's that cloves, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, ect do not belong in chili.

    There is even some homemade Cincinnati style chili recipes that call for chocolate or cocoa power. Ohioans needs to be stopped.

    It’s essential in bolognese. It’s also great as seasoning in a crisp topping imo.

    chocolate is great in chili in small amounts. Or in mole poblano
