It was a really good show, played a lot of stuff from the new album too which was cool. All the openers were great too. I got to chat with Ben for like 5 minutes earlier in the night and he remembered me which was cool.

 

My shirt that was supposed to ship in September still hasn’t shipped.

 

Email the label. Messaging them on Instagram might be quicker though.

 

I feel like if Max Bemis was singing this, it would be one of my favorite records of the last few years. The higher pitched, nasally stuff just doesn't do it for me, which is too bad because the instrumentation/lyrics are top notch.

 

I’ve emailed multiple times. They keep saying there’s a delay but they also said it would be in “next week” which was two weeks ago. I know there’s a vinyl delay but a t-shirt delays seems odd lol.

"it seems like a lot of our emails regarding shipping updates are getting sent directly to spam or people just are not receiving them. last we heard, YMAEWK should be ready to ship out mid/late december! i will try to put together a comprehensive list to leave here

Has the label offered an update recently on vinyl orders? I got off of social media so I have no idea if they’ve posted anything recently.

 

No updates from the label, but I chatted with Ben a few days ago and he said he was told the label was still waiting to receive stuff. So really the only update is that there is no update lol.

 

Makes sense. I know the delay and supply chain issues have been hell so I can be patient.

 

These new songs are wild but I kinda love how off the wall they are for this band

 

who are the originals by?

 

"I Wanna Be Down" is by Brandy and "Tonight You Belong To Me" is an old pop song, but the most well known version is by Patience and Prudence.

 

That's cool. I'll have to check out the originals/most well known version but the fact that I enjoyed both hopefully says something about the quality of the covers.

 

Anyone know what’s going on with Ben? Seems like the band’s social media pages have been inactive since the end of last year. Hope all is well with him.
