great fucking ep. "Does a hunt that have no violence feed anyone?" is one of the best moments ever in this show, full goosebumps. Misty stays carrying both storylines

 

misty has the best actors playing young and old . Ricci is killing it and little misty actress had a monster episode

 

Not really sure how Taissa, an elected official, gets away with just dipping from her injured wife and child for days on end? Who is even watching the kid?

 

oh I gotta say even though she disappeared from the episode for way too long Ambrose absolutely killed that scene where she told Tai about the cancer. the way her eyes hyperfocused on something way off in the distance and she only looked at Tai in these brief guilty glances, absolutely amazing acting

also I've long since stopped expecting realism from this show lmao. Javi would be a popsicle and young Lottie would have internal bleeding if this show was concerned with reality

 

Lol it really feels like a completely dropped storyline.

 

Small quibble but—that awkward quasi-dissolve transition from Misty on the cliff to coach mixing up past and present was incredibly janky.

 

Yeah Samantha Hanratty might be the MVP of the season.

 

Misty doing CPR and singing Stayin Alive out loud cracked me up. Not sure if it was scripted or improvised that she’d sing it out loud but A+ choice

 

It's important CPR training advise that everyone should know!!! Staying Alive is the gold standard for CPR BPMs

 

Oh for sure! It was just funny to hear someone singing it out loud. It was a great choice both for Misty and a teenager in general. I’d be singing it in my head if I ever had to give CPR

 

I know that from watching Doctor Mike videos. That and that need to push two inches deep to where you're breaking ribs.

I feel like the use of Something in The Way in this would have hit so much harder if it wasn't used to death in The Batman marketing.

 

Anyone try calling that emergency line number mentioned at Lottie’s compound? I just tried it and it’s fairly unsettling.

I love this show, but man the starkness in tone between the absolute dark dread horror of the past vs the almost crime dramedy of the present can be very jarring.

 

Is there really only 1 episode left? God damn
