my biggest worry is that Ellsworth gets added to the TLC match. Shane's mad. Ellsworth just earned a title shot...it basically acts as punishment.

 

Smackdown Hulu Thoughts/Reactions
- What I like about the finish to the Mens Survivor Series match is that not only Bray got the win, but it seems like Luke Harper finally trusts Randy, which is really important to that story. Lol Ellsworth in a neck brace. JBL's hatred of Ellsworth is probably the funniest thing is WWE right now. That or the crowd doing the Goldberg chant for Ellsworth. Ambrose so stoked for him getting a contract is great. Its unreal that they are making Ellsworth into such a big player while still being a jobber. I can't think of anything like it. - Kalisto would do so well in the cruiserweight division, why is he here? Trade Kalisto for Sami, its a win win situation. Raw gets someone established to add to the division and Smackdown gets Sami. I really want the Miz to hold the title until Mania where we see a called up Nakamura or a newly signed Sami defend Bryan's honor or something and takes the title. So the Corbin/Kalisto feud is fun, but why is Corbin so angry at him? Is he jealous that he can't do the lucha thing?

- This is the best wacky Dean we've seen. Still better when he's a serious character, but I'm totally okay with this version of him. Tag Turmoil was great, and love the direction the Wyatts are going. Tag titles would work so well for them. Oh my god they are doing Dean vs. Shane at Wrestlemania aren't they. I just yelled at my brother for not being a Hype Bro. He went to high school with Ryder and college with Mojo. How did he screw up so badly?

- The best way to make bad backstage segments good is too just start brawling. Why are Nikki and Carmella just talking? Just fucking fight. Okay, this is how you know if Kane will win. If his ring pyro goes off before the match, he loses, if it doesn't he'll likely win and do it after the match.

- I genuinely can't believe how far they've taken Ellsworth. This is the best, masterful. Unbelievable booking.

 

I feel like a Shield reunion is slowly happening but I don't know how they'll work Dean into the team. Or maybe they just keep it Roman and Rollins. Would be cool if they end up being the team that breaks New Day's streak. Also not sure how they do that with Roman having the US title.

 

Really, really hoping The Revival get to be the ones to dethrone New Day.

 

I'm okay with that. Roman has to drop the belt first though.

 

If it does happen, I hope its at Roadblock just cause I'm still on the fence about going to that and I'll prob end up getting free or cheap tix at the last min like I always do.

 

maybe have one of the members of The New Day get a title shot for the US belt and beat Roman (of course dirty) and then have Foley make a tag match for the tag belts and have whoever won the US title not show up or miss interrupting the pin or something because they're infatuated with their new US title.

this gets the tag belts on to Seth and Roman, which also takes them out of the Universal title picture, which is greatly needed for a shot of new faces being near the belt, breaks up The New Day, and gives one of the members of The New Day a singles push that is greatly deserved at this point (hopefully with it being Big E who is the most likely to be able to beat Roman, clean or not).

and then hopefully Big E can get a major singles push to the Universal title a few months later, or after Mania since they probably know what they want to do there already.

 

A Shield reunion right now would be a big waste of potential imo. I would like to see a new faction (Sanity, maybe a group of NXT callups ala Nexus) come in and run roughshod over everyone somewhere in the somewhat-distant future, and have Shield reunite as an "extreme measure" of sorts to take them out. It should be second only to the main title feuds in importance.

 

I like this. I think the tag belts on SD are obviously going to be won by Bray and Orton. Would love to see a cross over match between RAW and SD at that point.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't get the whole Ellsworth thing... Maybe with a lesser title, or in some other setting, but for the WWE title? Really? Is the roster that thin? Seems like a realyl drawn out hold-over till WM.

 

I'm curious how much money New Day takes in individually. Roman and Rollins take in about $4 mil together. I'm not sure vince wants to put that much investment in what is now a midcard title.

 

Strowman is getting paid like a main event talent, so his push is inevitable.

 

Paul London's crew is hilarious. Really fun dynamic to break things up a little bit,.

 

They have to make a killing on their merch.
