Might actually be smart to avoid title matches for that. Neither brand really has an obvious path forward to a great SS feud (maybe Jericho/Owens...), and right now they are on pace to burn out all their top guy feuds before the RR even hits.

Probably smarter to have the mid-card belts defended, and then with Roman/Miz/Ziggler out of the SS match, allow other midcard guys to build for WM feuds. So, boost Sami, Corbin, etc by having them be the sole survivor of that match. I also think making it for the ability to take another brands superstar would up the ante.

But a PPV with a Cruiserweight title match (and a pre-show CW match), a US and IC title match, womens SS, tag SS, and tradiitonal SS, plus Goldberg v Lesnar as the main event. Sounds pretty solid and not ridiculously overbooked like Summerslam.

Matt Hardy buying TNA is a strange prospect.

I think its brilliant. Allows Corgan to not be the "owner" on TV, and Matt Hardy becomes the craziest version of Vince ever.

Wouldnt surprise me if thats what happens in the hardy compound episode. Its like a boss inviting employees to dinner at his house

Looks like they'll have to bring in Kenny to be Kota's partner in the tourney.

He was really starting to get over again and shake off the rust, and now he's out again. Terrible timing.

Especially if he's gonna stay in NXT after recovery...the idea of working with more developmental guys has got to infuriate him after this

Sanity was okay, but it really bugs me when these "renegade backwoods rebel" blah blah factions have these super choreographed entrances where they stand in the spotlight and pose and all that. Wyatt's is good because it is minimalist in it's approach. Shield's was perfect. Interested to see how it plays out, though.

I think you can say that about almost everything in wrestling these days. Nothing's really organic anymore. Even when they randomly chase down someone and start interviewing them backstage, there's all this purple backdrop lighting to make everything look perfect. It wasn't just the storylines and characters that made the Attitude Era great, it was the fact that it looked real and didn't look like a choreographed set up.

Idk Sanity didn't really strike me as the typical renegade backwoods act. It actually was pretty creepy and they look legit scary. Plus I wanna see how EY was able to make them all turn like this
