Yeah, she's trying to get out of her contract without a doubt. Third strike is a contract void isn't it?

This is a legitimate question. They won't release her so she's gotta force it

Elgin suffered a fracture in his face.

A certain wrestler debuted as him at a PPV. He was very bad about convincing us that he wasn't said person.

It's hilarious how obvious it is but Tiger Mask W's identity makes me very very happy.

    A DILAPIDATED BOAT! Prestigious

I'm more excited for WK11 than any other wrestling show.

What's the card looking like? I know we got Okada/Omega and Naito/Tanahashi as the two marquee matches but what else?
I've heard some people speculate that we might get Shibata/Suzuki for the Openweight belt, i'm assuming we're either going to get BUSHI/Kushida, BUSHI/Ospreay, or Kushida/Ospreay for the Junior title depending on how the next show goes, we're probably going to see some NJPW vs NOAH tag match, and were most likely going to see either Cole or O'Reilly in a ROH title match.

Apparently there's going to be an entire episode of Impact filmed at the Hardy Compound. That's going to be great.

What a disappointing result to the Miz Ziggler match. Accomplishes nothing. The whole PPV seemed pointless and was a huge overall drop off in quality from Backlash.

I'll show my naivety with this, but why isn't Shibata a top guy at this point? I understand the Okada/Tanahashi thing, but Shibata has been the most consistently impressive guy in the company for me. He's the one guy I look forward to the most with each PPV. Is it a lack of personality/character? I can see why Naito and Omega have gotten nice pushes over the last year. I just want to see it for Shibata.

Miz/Ziggler accomplished a ton. It got a lot of people interested in two guys who were getting a bit stale. Miz reminded us why he is the best pure heel in the WWE. Ziggler showed us that with the right story, we can get behind him again. WWE did a wonderful job with the will they/won't they pull the trigger with releasing Zigs. The story couldn't have been done much better. Everything down to the rumors about tapes about his career being sent to television companies this week was fucking perfect.

It's cool if you weren't into it, but it's one of the better executed WWE stories of the last few years.

i'm writing a book, leave me alone.

    watching Summerslam 2003...

i knew - we all know - the Zach Gowen thrown down the flight of stairs in a wheelchair by Lesnar, but HOLY SHIT, the video they show at Summerslam of the Smackdown just prior when Lesnar just about kills the guy. good fuck, the guy is covered in blood by numerous heavy chair shots to the skull, smashed into the ring post knee first two or three times, tossed off the gurney... good god the segments this product used to make.

it's so hard to watch because the kid is like, 100 pounds soaking wet and Lesnar is well, Lesnar.

I not too sure either. I can assume that they need someone to carry that strong/shoot style NEVER Openweight division and that he's the perfect person to do that right now after a year of having the belt be hot potatoed between Ishii and Makabe. I can assume he'll hopefully get a main event run eventually before he retires.
I have heard some things about how there still might be some distrust over how he left New Japan in 2006 during his big push to focus on MMA. I've heard some fan speculation that they might not trust him with that top spot as they consider him flaky and possibly disloyal.
Also Shibata kind of is a throwback to the late 90's/early 2000's super serious MMA-esque depiction of strong style Japanese wrestling that New Japan and Gedo have spent the last few years trying to move away from. NJPW have been slowly moving towards westernization that last few years, and while Shibata is incredible having a guy like him in the top spot might be a step backwards in the direction they're trying to go.

Goto is the guy I feel really bad for. Guy has been at in NJPW for over a decade, won multiple major tournaments, has gotten so close to getting a IWGP title run many times but still has never gotten there.

Completely agree. Now, they have to follow through and keep both guys relevant afterwards though, because it'd be very easy for Dolph to go back to the routine if he dumps the title soon.

Nah, cause that should main event, and there is a 100% chance that Goldberg/Lesnar would ME over it. But I would love a career v career match at TLC. Both those dudes in a ladder match to end the feud would be great.

Im actually hoping that Miz doesnt take his rematch right away, instead he does something to piss DB off and starts up another feud. Cause both guys would be well served moving onto something fresh.

What I'd love to see is Miz go on a losing streak and demand he be transferred to Raw because he sees the way DB is treating him as completely unfair. Maybe trade him for Cesaro (after the title match) in order for him to have a package with Ziggler. Or maybe Sami. I just think Miz belongs on Raw.

Yeah I'm pretty sure Shibata not being a consistent Main Event/Ace is because of the MMA stint.

Consistently one of the most over guys on the rosters and maybe the most solid night to night guy.
