Corgan is on the radio right now, so far:

.@Billy "The company has had a for sale sign on it for a very long time. You could argue it's had a for sale sign on it since its inception"

.@Billy "There's a lot of people at the table right now. Whatever happens this weekend is going to change the face of this company."

.@Billy "I am working very hard to acquire a majority share of this company and keep it going into the future." @IMPACTWRESTLING

.@Billy "I have a very strong show of support and I feel very strong in our relationship with PopTV going forward."

.@Billy "I do not root against the #WWE . I am a fan of the #WWE and they are the gold standard of our business."

.@Billy "The last 3 tapings, I've had to step in at the last minute and walk to the ring as the ink is drying."

.@Billy on #BoundForGlory "At the end of the day, it is not up to me. But I remain optimistic and I will be in Orland(o) me-(I'm guessing is what he meant) on Sunday."

The Miz has turned into quite the heel. He's on fire right now.

Raw undoubtedly needs to be cut back to two hours.

I didn't bother to watch the PPV or much of Raw this week. Like you said, I'm struggling to care about not only KO's reign, but anyone or anything on Raw. I didn't think one guy like Balor getting hurt could have this drastically negatively effected Raw.

Just stumbled upon this thought it was hysterical and well made.

I'm sure it's probably old but posting just in case.

  8. I feel like Ziggler is really gonna be done and pursue something else. Maybe not forever, but a long hiatus. To me that helps make his SS match make more sense. It also gives massive heat to Miz and I don't see him losing the title unless he somehow thrusts himself into the main title picture. Only problem is I don't see it until AJ loses the title. So him keeping the IC title and massive heat makes more sense.

Im curious how thats gonna work out for Smackdown, if AJ and Miz are both having long reigns....what happens to Ambrose and Bray and Randy...not to mention their whole mid-card.

Wonder if they'll be victims of their own success here after No mercy and have trouble building feuds as strong

Didn't we go through the whole "Is dolph leaving?" last summer and he had already resigned a deal? would that deal be up already?

It is INSANE how good Ricochet makes his opponents look. Sinestro is a pretty underwhelming wrestler, but Puma made that match look sooooo good.

Eight man tag was soooo good. Wonderful spot fest. Jack Evans is a gem. Need a gif of his first tag.

TNA stuff is wild right now. So much crazy shit going down. I'll post the fun stuff.

-“There are a lot of hurdles and games being played. She (Dixie Carter) has really made a mess and is responsible for all of it.”

-Carter is the one who is going to make the decision who gets the company and they need someone who has the ability to fund it. WWE was said to be back in the picture early in the week, but at press time, they are back out of the picture. Before there was a feeling WWE was a last ditch thing but the feeling now is Carter is going to make the best deal for her, as a WWE deal would end the company as they would only buy it for the tape library, and probably bring some of the contracted talent into WWE.

There's also the issue of the debt, which is in the millions of dollars, largely to Aroluxe and Corgan but there are other creditors as well. The belief is that WWE wouldn't assume the debt and that the company would then be closed down. John Gaburick, due to his longtime relationship with Kevin Dunn, was the one who brought the WWE into the picture.

-Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that WWE's offer for TNA is "very little" and WWE would also want a non-compete clause which would prevent Billy Corgan or Dixie Carter from starting up another wrestling company.

-Rumors in both directions whether or not matches and flights are cancelled for Bound for Glory.

I don't understand how WWE can force Corgan to sign a no compete clause if he doesn't own the company. He could just refuse and the sale wouldn't go through

I think she'll end up selling to Corgan, unless WWE swoops in with a bigger offer than they put in, but I don't see that happening.

Also, Galloway might miss Bound for Glory now due to injury.

Corgan is a minority owner already. He has stock and would likely sell his. I think, if the WWE does buy them, they'd be foolish not to bring Corgan on board. They could even do a Network exclusive with him leading creative. Maybe give it more of a Lucha/Broken Matt vibe.
Corgan would need funding from elsewhere. If the company does go to Corgan, it won't be this week. He could fund the show, but it won't be his company tomorrow.
fuck. That ruins that entire new division.

I am surprised to see that out of all the potential outcomes being discussed, no one buying TNA and their shutting down/declaring bankruptcy isn't higher up on the list.

I think WWE has too many former TNA people in their ranks, and too much invested in the network, to not buy that library as opposed to letting TNA fold.

Im betting Corgan floats the money to make Bound for Glory happen, they go to clip shows to fill their weekly broadcast, and he owns TNA outright by the end of October
