    A DILAPIDATED BOAT! Prestigious

Let's say if this is legit and it's 2001 WCW sale situation where they buy the tape library and poach some talents, who in TNA would they take and who would they scrap?

    • I'd say The Hardys, Galloway, EC3, and Gail Kim are obviously the ones that are most likely to be picked up.
    • The only X Division guy I could see them signing is Trevor Lee, who they should send straight to NXT.
    • Lashley wouldn't be able to work WWE and Bellator at the same time, he probably wouldn't go.
    • Moose was in TNA and not WWE supposedly because he didn't pass WWE's physical and there was some domestic violence stuff in his past WWE didn't like. Unsure if WWE would relook at him.
    • Al Snow, Shane Helms and Abyss could possibly get agent or trainer jobs, but Snow is the only one I could see doing something on air on WWE or NXT tv.
    • Mike Bennett and Maria maybe? They're a package deal so they'd have to be willing to take both of them. Maria already has some cred in WWE so it's possible.
    • Sandow/Rex I don't know. If they did it'd be like a Jinder Mahal or Curt Hawkins type thing, plus I don't know if he'd want to go back.

KO is pushing pretty hard for Eddie Edwards.
I'd love to see Jade in there.
Allie would be fine if her gimmick weren't so fucking bad.
Eli Drake would work for me.
I'd add Rockstar Spud to the agent list. Or maybe a Cruiserweight.

New rumor is that TNA doesn't even have the money to put on, or broadcast Bound for Glory. Yikes.

Do not want WWE to buy them. That can happen anytime in the future, but Broken Matt Hardy dies the day they buy TNA, and I dont want that

Hardy also has a lot of commitments going forward. I'd hate for them to cut a lot of his indie dates.

Though it would be awesome for him to put over the Wyatts.

    Jalen Ramsey is the GOAT

Is it bad that I'm actually excited for when Hawkins comes back? Maybe because he hasn't even had a taped match and already had a promo saying he was coming that night but I really want these promos to stop and I really want Hawkins to return.

Justin LaBar - Yesterday, Monday afternoon in the 3 o’clock hour I tweeted Is WWE about to do it again? #BigBang

I’m here to say that it’s very possible they might do IT again. First started over a week ago when the New York Post made note that WWE actually put a bid in to purchase TNA. A lot of chatter came from that. I reached out to WWE and they responded with they “respectfully declined.” Was happy they got back to me but raised my eyebrows and thought it was interesting they respectfully declined rather than saying not we’re not and dismissing it. Anyways, fast forward a week later I see myself and other are all sniffing the same paper trail of clues. Yes, WWE is legitimately and seriously in the running to purchase TNA Wrestling. It’s going to come down to WWE or Billy Corgan. I’ve talked people of various levels in both of WWE and TNA. The old guard is apparently undermining Billy Corgan in a lot of ways and it’s an ongoing soap opera. I think a lot of talent would like Corgan to take over but it’s ultimately going to come down to who Dixie Carter sells it to. You might ask yourself why, well I don’t necessarily agree with it all but from what I’ve heard is well, let’s not beat around the bush, there is some ego. It’s business. But, the talent pool—they would like to depend the talent pool. Talent is the most precious commodity in the business they are in. Talent and characters expire with the audience, injuries as well so you want to deepen the pool whether it be NXT or RAW and SmackDown. We see how frequent injuries have been in the past year and a half especially. As well as add some value to the hardcore fans to the WWE Network. It already has the archive of so many wrestling territories in history and now they can add with TNA. To some fans that’s a big deal and it’s many more hours of content to add to the $9.99 viewing experience.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

If WWE does end up buying TNA, this is easily one of the craziest years in wrestling ever.

2001 still probably takes the cake.

We haven't seen Gargano or Ciampa yet and supposedly, they are in it. Also Akira Tozawa is supposed to be in, just finishing up indie dates.

I really liked the segment. Thought it sold the feud well, but a Career vs Title match here just spoils the ending. Ziggler finally taking it. Don't think he's done yet.

That said, at least Dolph finally got some payoff for these increasingly yelling promos...he really nailed this one. And the match will likely be incredible

i was expecting an iron man match with how they kept saying miz beat him over and over again. i'd like to see that stip added. 30-40 minute iron man match career vs title

I do think we're getting a gimmick. Seems like Daniel would intervene and add it to keep Maryse out with the stakes so high.

Cause Maryse costing Ziggler his career would probably take their heat too far

i'm writing a book, leave me alone.

i feel like Ziggler is done. puts Miz super over as a heel and let's Ziggler go somewhere and maybe be something with what he has left.

I really wish Randy would have said "here," like Bray does there. Would have been a nice touch.

I was hoping he was gonna end it with "Run!"
