Damien Sandow vs Broken Matt Hardy at House of Hardcore right now. Great promo battle before the match

 

currently watching all the Last Man Standing matches.

Trips vs Jericho @ Judgment Day 2000 was real good. and JR on commentary was amazing as usual. I tend to forget how much he added to matches and how much his calls really made things so much more powerful and great.

the very first one of Mankind vs Rock at St. Valentine's Day Massacre '99 is great even though the audience absolutely hated the no-content ending.

i'm curious how Orton vs Trips at One Night Stand 2008 was supposed to go since he broke his collarbone after being thrown over the top rope. also curious to have King say right away that Orton told the ref that he broke his collarbone as that kind of breaks kayfabe a bit. you could tell the ending was awkwardly put together because of the unexpected injury. makes me wonder what else was supposed to happen.

 

Every time I hear Shane Strickland slap his leg for a kick, I can't help but feel it. The sound is so exaggerated, but I love it. SO LOUD.

 

When is Roderick Strong supposed to start up with WWE? NXT bound most likely right?

 

Most likely. If Joe gets called up, i think he'd be the best choice of heel going forward. Dusty stuff is like like it will be fun

 

A Generation Next takeover with Aries and Strong would be sweet.

Next HOH show at 2300 will have Dreamer and Hardy in a cage match.

 

So much fun tonight. Won't go into much detail now but Lethal wrestled in 3 matches tonight and told a continuous self-contained story over the course of the night. Briscoes vs Dalton and Colt was so much fun. And Steve Corino, Cheeseburger, and Bull James all were surprise entrants in the honor rumble. Huge pops for all 3.

 

I guess it was a tv taping?

 

It was advertised as a house show, but they were definitely filming it. I don't think for a TV episode, but it's definitely gonna be on their site.

 

If you're referring to Lethal wrestling 3 times, no, here's what happened. Him and Silas had a great singles match earlier. During Jay's second dive through the ropes that pushed Silas into the barricade, he started selling a serious knee injury. Lethal eventually beats him via LI. Honor rumble is the main event, Silas is entrant 1 and Lethal is 2. Lethal sells the knee the whole match. Silas and Lethal are the last ones left. Silas keeps going after the knee and eventually throws him over. Goads Lethal back in for a handshake but takes off as Lethal extends his hand. Lethal stands in the ring dejected. Cole gives him shit. Lethal says he never got his rematch. Cole, who cancelled his own fight earlier in the evening for feeling disrespected for being booked against a local, walks off and says he isn't wrestling in front of us. Lethal calls him the woman's champion. Boom. Impromptu match (not for the belt and already 3.5 hours into the show) that goes 10 minutes. Lethal continues to sell the knee and Cole attacks it. Lethal wins via roll up then gets attacked by BC.

RoH, in a house show outside of Buffalo, told a much better story in one night then I've seen WWE since I've started watching. Probably hyperbole, but I'm running on high from being so close to Adam Cole that I heard him doing commentary with Kevin Kelly all rumble.

Lol got me. KK wasn't there but Veda did commentary on 2 matches.
