That Heyman promo might have been genius. Exposing Steph's lack of control.

They can totally run a program where HHH wants to run it ALL. He's dominated in NXT, his people could well have every title in the next 2-3 months (E/C, KO, Charlotte/Bayley/Sasha, AA, not sure who'll take the IC title, maybe Corbin? and WWE champ Bray Wyatt). Why wouldnt he argue HE should be Vince's heir.

 

I totally spaced on Raw being tonight. What the hell happened??

that's true - dynamics are goofy because we still get the dumb storyline of Reigns being the sympathetic screwed over babyface

I hope this doesn't get turned into a HHH and/or KO face turn

 

do i think seth will show up next week on raw as a face? no but it definitely planted the seeds for it - he's been wrestling with a face moveset ever since he came back from injury

 

This was an incredible ending to a meh Raw. Well done. I lost my mind when HHH showed up.

 

Instantly, he wont be. In the build with HHH, where HHH wears him down as inadequate to use his finisher and carry his legacy...he will be.

Same way Roman isnt instantly a face cause HHH screwed him (see Royal Rumble 2016 for proof). But it gives them a lot of open space to work with

 

In less than 2 years since debuting on NXT. Not the main roster, NXT, Kevin Owens has won the NXT title in record time, beat John Cena clean in the middle of the ring, become a two time Intercontinental Champion, and now the WWE Universal Champion. This dudes run has surpassed anything anyone could've ever expected

 

Sami wins it next, then Neville. Probably not that other guy.

 

He has also had the longest streak of consecutive main roster PPV appearances in his debut year since The Undertaker in 1990/1991.

 

For the New Day/Bayley stuff and the main event alone, that was one of my favorite Raws in a while.

 

Amazing episode of RAW.

 

And on the other brand, AJ Styles went from debuting to main eventing to beating Cena clean, twice, in 6 months. And probably to champ in 7.

And now, I want so badly for Survivor Series to be Team KO vs Team Sami for Sami to get a title shot. Though, seeing those two in Hell in a Cell would be insane

 

first hour was fun. Middle hour sucked. Last 30mins was 5 star gold

 

So ready for Rollins as a face.

 

its incredible to think that that match followed a Titus vs Darren young match that could not have been more pointless.
RAW going back to 2hrs would work magic. They could have cut the Heyman promo in half, dumped that Titus/Young match, and left off a squash match and nobody would complain

 

I honestly don't even remember what happened in the middle hour. Not even mad.

 

one of my favorite endings to raw in a LONG time!! that was soo fun!! Awesome swerve, awesome surprise, awesome ending. It's the kind of ending that makes you say "holy shit...im pumped for next week"

Hoping that the Cruiserweight division helps some of the length problems - if we get a couple CWC-caliber matches a week it'd be a vast improvement over segments like Titus/Darren.
