Catching up on DDT. These last three have been perfect.

 

Same goal, but damn there are so many episodes. Ive started skipping some of the low-card matches

 

I only ever skip Texano and Chavo matches. lol. Everything else feels important.

 

Except for Cobra Moon. Ugh.

 

With so much other wrestling I might have to as well. Watching Fenix/Cuerno for the GotG in a ladder match right now.

 

Just make sure you guys watch the Mariposa/Sexy Star match.

 

Oh god, Joey Ryan as an undercover detective...that should be amazing

 

Well, when I see Bengali or Mascarito or Pimpanella, I know I can move along

 

Mascarita stuff in season two is perfect. Famous B plays the role so well.

This Gift of the Gods Ladder Match is insanely brutal. Im half expecting neither to be able to climb the ladder

 

If you watch this keep in mind you'll probably have to bare with Aubrey shilling his Patreon account and comic book projects every 10 minutes.

In the first two minutes of watching the things that immediately stick out to me are Cody drinking Scotch out of an awesome Zelda mug and the fact that he has a portrait of himself in his wrestling gear hanging in his house.

Aubrey sitterson was on shoemakers podcast and it was pretty horrible. Dude sounded like he had wayyyy too much caffeine beforehand.

 

Been working my way through LU S1. (on E15 now) Pretty impressive how this show does far better story telling with an hour a week than WWE does with five.

Also makes me wonder if part of why WWE does 7+ hours of Wrestling a week is to intentionally burn people out so they don't have time to watch much wrestling beyond WWE. I've only made it through 2-3 episodes a week just because I find I only have time to watch it over the weekend

 

He really is unbearable, but i'll listen to him when he has an interesting guest.

 

He did allude to doing substances on that pod too right? Wouldn't be surprised. He kind of strangely reminds me of a less crazy version of max Landis with hid endless chatter.

 

Cody just said that during the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team tournament one of the lead writers asked him if he'd like to turn heel and attack Finn Balor during the closing ceremony, and he was absolutely offended that WWE creative would think he would want to turn his father's death into a wrestling storyline.

G1 Climax Day 18 Spoilers: Really happy that Omega won the block and holy shit, that Omega/Naito match was fantastic
Decent tournament so far overall, even if I've generally enjoyed B Block more than A.
