It's pretty obvious Cedric is probably already signed since Trips came out and walked him to the back.

 

In a way I feel like Bayley has to win because who else is credible enough to give Asuka that first loss. Plus it would help give Bayley a little more edge. But if she does then it doesn't look good for being full time main roster. And who would she lose it to if she did go up? Should be interesting to see what happens

 

After watching Cedric Alexander reffing Freight Train matches infront of 20 redneck fans on $5 Wrestling, it's crazy that he's come this far in just a few years.

 

What does bro me even mean? It doesn't sound like it would be pleasant

 

So is it safe to say Cedric did more to increase his stock than anyone else in this tournament?

Also is there any way we can we get Cedric vs Sami at Summerslam?

 

Holy hell I just watched Cedric vs Ibushi. What a match. Wow. I wish they could've met in the next round instead so Cedric could have had one more match in the tournament but just wow. I'm at a loss for words. That last minute with the crowd reaction and Trips coming out too was great. I really hope he got signed

 

Also Tozawa vs Gallagher next week is gonna be so fun

 

caught the cwc episode. bryan's commentary isn't jbl-level bad but it does take me out of the match every now and then. it's very "I WRESTLED A BEAR" at times.

 

I wonder if the Jay Lethal/Adam Cole feud is gonna end with Cole getting his hair cut off as well. Can't imagine the guy with short hair lol

 

There is no way Cole doesn't go over.

 

Meltzer says Paige has nerve damage. Yikes.

 

Yeah, I just hope Cole wins clean and not with Bullet Club shenanigans. Lethal has held that title too long for them not to use him losing it as an opportunity to elevate someone.

If Cole wins i'd bet anything we're going to get Cole/O'Reilly III as the main event of Final Battle, which would actually make for a pretty cool story if done correctly.

 

I would absolutely love KOR to get the belt. If he doesn't, I'm not sure why he sticks around.

Knowing WWE's shitty history with gay issues I'm not too optimistic how on how WWE will handle this. Remember how they fucked over GLAAD with the Billy and Chuck marriage publicity stunt? Or how all the stuff that supposedly happened with Chris Kanyon. Or the time Jerry Lawler called Goldust a homophobic slur on Raw

If they use the LGBT wrestlers they already have (the only ones I know of are Darren Young and Daria in NXT) and actively try to scout LGBT wrestlers that is incredible, but I just think if they give a straight wrestler a gay gimmick and then call it inclusiveness like they supposedly wanted to do with Daniel Bryan in 2010 that will probably end up in backlash. It works for Dalton Castle in ROH (who I consider more of a sexually ambiguous character) but I just don't think it'll work for WWE and would be considered Straightwashing.

The title watch thing is kinda cool and the bios have some info other than the normal which is nice.

 

The idea of this has me incredibly excited and worried. Certain fans are going to hate it just because.

 

Does Meltzer report on the CWC? I'm curious as to what he thought about Ibushi/Alexander

 

The Metailik driver is awesome.

 

I'm curious to see if some of the banning of moves changes. A bunch of guys have done moves similar to package piledrivers. Not sure what the verdict is on those. It seems like these guys are a lot better at doing some of these moves.

 

That video they did with Cena gives me some hopes they won't fuck it up. Hopefully they'll just let gay wrestlers have their characters be gay. Show off their partners in the crowd like they do for straight wrestlers. Maybe even have the partner be a character on the show like Maryse/Lana (though that could get a little tricky. If you did that scene between The Miz and Maryse making out on the table from this past SD with a same sex couple, it would probably come across as exploitative (if it was two women) or homophobic (if it was two men).)

 

The segment was so fucking weird. I did have the show on mute at that point though.
