I just realized with Cena/AJ being in a feud, and Orton in the mix with Brock that realistically the only top star left currently for Ambrose to feud for the title with at Summerslam is Wyatt, which would be what the 3rd or 4th Ambrose/Wyatt feud we've seen in 2 years?

 

I think somehow Ambrose enters the AJ/Cena feud and either a triple threat is the main event for Summerslam or AJ/Cena have their payoff on Smackdown as a number one contendership for the title. Everyone else needs time to develop and Ambrose seems to be the guy they're going with at the moment as the main guy.

 

I was thinking this earlier, god I hope not. Maybe AJ and Cena will both enter the title picture..

 

Shane announced on Twitter that the #1 contender will be named tonight so we're getting the answer immediately.

 

Still not entirely thrilled with the Smackdown roster since nearly all of my favorite wrestlers ended up on Raw but after last night's resounding success, I'm very excited to see how Smackdown shakes things up tonight.

 

Wow, that's just gotta be the angle right? Finn looks a couple inches shorter than Seth, I didn't think the difference was that big.

 

If Summerslam is Rollins/Balor and Ambrose/Styles that would be great.

 

What I like about Smackdowns lack of depth is that it forces them to create stars that may have never had a chance if not for the split. Apollo Crews could actually build a character with this and become a legit contender

 

Seth is deceptively tall I think but yeah Finn is pretty short.

 

I like Finn well enough, but also find him supremely overrated, and think that Rollins is his superior in every conceivable department other than maybe look.

 

WWE Championship is now the WWE World Championship. Smackdown has the champion of the world, but Raw...Raw has the champion of the entire universe!

 

Shane has to throw some shade at that name tonight, right?

I hope DBry and Shane just rag on it all the time. Galactic Championship, Pangaea Championship, Big Ass Place Championship, Parts Unknown Championship.

 

Watched Raw on painkillers after surgery this morning and dug it, so I don't know if it was good or I'm just on the moon

Loved the homage being thrown to the fist in the opening package! Otherwise, pretty underwhelmed by the revamp of the Smackdown set.
