Speaking of cruiserweights, you think we get Neville tonight? He's already made his in ring return on house shows right?

 

Apparently the matches with him and AJ were insane and we will never get to see them.

 

I'd say its a good possibility yes.

 

It'll probably be won at summer slam

 

Hope we get a tournament. Hope Steph stacks it in Seths favor but Cesaro uses the massive chip on his shoulder to shock everyone and win.

 

Bayley joked on one of the online exclusive promos that she and Sasha were gonna be tag champs. I wonder if they would actually consider bringing the women's tag team championship back at some point. Clearly not the right time now since the women's roster is already stretched so thin on each brand. But if they can continue to build it up like they have been, maybe they bring it back at some point. That way one brand has the singles belt and the other has the tag belts.

 

We can only dream haha

 

The weird thing is, they have the people to make it work. There are a lot of combos you can use. Obviously it won't work now that they are split very poorly.

Naomi/Tamina, Bayley/Sasha/Becky, Bayley/Carmella, Charlotte/Dana, Dana/Emma, Paige/Nia? ew

Really really lame PPV aside from the Owens Zayn match. I thought the whole thing felt like an episode of Raw.

Isn't Bayley not staying on the roster though? Pretty sure I read she wasn't.

One of the most solid payperviews of the year felt like an episode of raw, wow

 

yeah to me, the thing that got me most excited about this NxT brand was the fact that we now get these "big debuts" that used to make the 90s so much fun

 

I'm shocked that everyone thinks that this was so great. You had two complete garbage title matches. Two Raw-like 3 on 3 matches with an awkward sense of pointlessness due to the members being split up in the draft. Two womens division matches, neither for the title!?!?! Come on.... The Womens division is so bad right now. The Bayley debut was cool, but she's not even joining the roster (which is ridiculous considering how bad it is).

The KO Zayn match was outstanding. Probably one of the best matches I've seen in quote some time. The Jericho Highlight Reel with Orton was fine I guess, but I really hate babyface Orton. It's terrible.

The main event wasn't great. Reigns is so bad, it's hard to watch. I'm glad Ambrose retained, but I hope we get something new going this week.

I don't think you're ever going to be pleased going forward if you thought last night was bad. It was a very solid card with some great matches, and a few duds. I'll take that over some of the past PPVs.
