This makes me glad the HR Derby was on for 2 and half hours lol

This brand split is going to be a dumpster fire

Early bets that Daniel Bryan is smackdown GM

 

So HHH as Raw GM and Bryan as Smackdown's?

 

this is gonna be a disaster, especially heading into football season

 

Maybe Eric Bischoff is actually returning to run Raw again and DB will run Smackdown. Very little doubt about Bryan.

 

Well Smackdown is gonna benefit because there is no important football on Tuesday

 

HHH isn't gonna work under Steph

 

Depending on how the rosters are split, I'm probably going to watch more SD than Raw.

 

SD is gonna feel like NXT - with Shane and the new era

Especially if Bryan is the GM

 

I'm guessing the "commissioner" title is a way for the McMahons to still be a presence but they won't be appearing every week, that'll be the GM's job

 

people didnt like this raw? I thought this was one of the better raws in quite some time. The battle royal, although depressingly weak, was a good opener with a good choice for winner. The Wyatt/New Day is amazing, i want more. The Rollins/Ambrose segment was A+. And you had a nice little cliffhanger to end the show with the whole GM thing.

plus, it seems like everyone currently actually has something to do! That's a huge step in the right direction.

Of course i had the power of dvr to go through everything else, but i really liked this raw.

 

I feel like the GM also wont be appearing every week. Some weeks will probably get one, some the other. Some both if that's what the storyline entails.

Also don't think HHH is gonna be the GM of Raw. Is he officially the "commissioner" of NXT? Cause there is certainly a nice symmetry in having the three third generations McMahon each in the Commissioner role of the three WWE brands

 

The greatest thing Roman Reigns has ever done is make smarks appreciate John Cena - those cheers tonight wow. Probably a lot to do with pairing him with Enzo and Cass

 

Corporate Kane for Raw GM and The Demon Kane for Smackdown GM

 

Has KO done that torture rack neckbreaker as a finish before? I kinda dug it.

I definitely know where he got that move though

 

These two are the best.

 

I wonder how they'll split up the backstage interviewers and ring announcers in the split.

I'd say give Tom Phillips Smackdown, keep Renee on Raw, and call up Cathy Kelley to be a regular interviewer on one of the brands.

I want Greg Hamilton called up to ring announce Smackdown, I feel like his Buffer-esque approach would be perfect if they're going to start making Smackdown more wrestling centric.

 

love so much that you all thought you were getting someone like Bischoff and what we got was another rerun of the McMahon show

 

I just wanted a Bischoff appearance. It was pretty obvious that it was going this way all along. It's just crazy to think we get John, Teddy, and Vickie, but no Eric. There wasn't a more obvious choice to put out there.
