They are announcing the bracket for the CWC after NXT tonight. I'm pretty sure it is already on wiki, but that has results, so I won't post it.

 

Death Before Dishonor is sounding a lot like a NJPW show. Shibata is on it now.

 

Seems like that's becoming the case with every major ROH show. I get the complaints about the booking now.

 

ITS A DILAPIDATED BOAT

 

That's been ROH's big weak point as of late. They're relying wayyy too much on NJPW, while their homegrown product right now is pretty stale. New Japan guys are getting better reactions at ROH shows than ROH wrestlers are.

 

The biggest problem is that ROH is doing nothing to bolster their roster. The top acts are guys that are getting a bit older and maybe a little stale. One of their biggest builds is already jumping ship to TNA. Having NJPW means they can just throw guys into matches and not have to worry about the homegrown talent. It's the same problem the WWE is coming across, to a lesser extent.

 

I've been saying that about ROH for about a year now. Can't build a product if your guys are getting jobbed put to wrestlers from another promotion every time

 

You can definitely tell things aren't good there by how many of their wrestlers are jumping ship. Roddy is leaving, Moose is leaving, Cedric Alexander left, Silas Young said on Twitter he isn't re-signing, Michael Elgin switched to New Japan.

 

The worst part is, they have a lot of big talent that they aren't pushing. They put the TV belt on a forty year old dude instead of his tag partner. And the Addiction are getting up there in age as well. Though with the tag division, I'm not a huge fan of any of the options.

 

Christopher Daniels is 46, i'd say here's already well up there in age lol.
