Im actually curious the last time the title was defended at a PPV where the outcome was actually in doubt. Cause im actually stunned they went this way.

You could count Survivor Series I guess, but, nobody had Dean going over Roman to end that tourney, and I bet most predicted the Sheamus cash-in. And Royal Rumble felt pretty obvious...as did WM and the ppvs that followed. So does that make it Summerslam against Cena? Where it took a Jon Stewart run-in... We basically went a full year where they telegraphed their endings and failed to get their guy over

 

was the PPV good? i didn't watch it

 

Love that Ambrose is champ. Never thought I'd see it.

Owens would have been really fun with the briefcase, but I'd rather him win it after a nice long program with someone as opposed to just cashing in tonight.

 

Owens/Jericho/Del Rio interview was the highlight! Give Owens all the belts.

Reigns is a three-time champ.

 

As stoked as I am for Ambrose and as much as he deserves it that cash in was kinda blah.

 

I just hope next year we don't get a 'hit it, and win it' cash in. It's getting tiresome and predictable.

 

This sums my feelings up pretty well.

 

Disappointed with the ending cuz I'm a much bigger Rollins fan than I am an Ambrose fan, but I knew going into the night that Rollins wasn't going to be leaving as champ so the second he beat Roman, I knew Ambrose would be cashing in.

Since the general consensus seems to be that this will lead to a Shield triple threat at Summerslam, any thoughts on what the main event picture is going to be like at Battleground?

 

Shoot, he (and Truth oddly.enough), were BY FAR the most over a live event I went to a week or 2 ago.

As was mentioned previously, this shows that Anderson's shoulder wasn't down when the ref was about to start the count, hence the confusion to the supposed three count.

 

WWE Live Draft will take place on 7/19, the first live Smackdown

 

I can't believe they had Roman kick out of that ridiculous counter pedigree and then lose 5 secs later. I know they just want him to look strong but that move was incredible. It wouldn't have made him weak. The only thing it weakened was the moment.

I would HOPE that Reigns/Rollins/Ambrose end up on the same brand so they can continue their feud for the WWE title. Summerslam is the supposed Shield Triple Threat and that takes place a month after the draft.

Still got enough main event level-esque guys on the other show with Cena, AJ, Bray, Owens, Jericho and whoever else in the middle they want to elevate.

 

If anything that bores me is the fact New Day are Champs still. I love them and all but I need something fresh in that regard.

 

Two SHIELD members have now had championship reigns of less than 3 minutes.
