not to mention Roman lost clean. Seth beating Roman and then Dean beats Seth certainly makes this a whole hell of a lot better than if Dean had either made it a triple threat or beaten Roman after Roman beat Seth.

 

ambrose has been boring for a while. curious what they're going to do with battleground.

 

Is it technically a clean finish with the ref bump?

Also can we talk a bit more about how sick that spear into pedigree counter was?

I'm still a little mad Roman kicked out. But that was probably my favorite spot of the night.

 

Yeah, he hit him with two pedigrees after, and one was off Roman trying to hit his finisher. Probably as "clean" as a Roman loss will ever be

I mean in regards to the prediction card.

 

We complain a lot about this company... but that was a pretty cool finish.

 

Its funny, the same way the Phenomenal Forearm almost feels made for the Superman Punch counter...the Pedigree feels like it was made to counter the Spear. He certainly cant Curb Stomp counter....

Agree it should have been the finish. Cause I was terrified Roman was gonna kick out of the 2nd pedigree and I'd have to quit watching

 

Well, i think they teased Seth turning face and Roman turning heel with Seth doing more acrobatic moves that when he was with the Authority and also Roman picking him up by his injured leg teased the Roman turns heel part.

 

Yeah. I was ready to rage after that. There is certainly something to be appreciated about the "make everyone pissed and then give them what they want" troll move, but that still doesn't change the fact it feels like Roman can kick out of anything.

 

That hasn't been a measurement in the WWE in years. Maybe if this were AAA.

And right off the back of them turning what people expected to be "AJ does 50 cool moves and Cena no sells them" into a match where Cena looked outgunned the whole time.

First half of the show was bad (and is bad for the NXT call-ups), but damn if those 3 main matches werent fun

 

The Shemus/Apollo match really wasn't bad either. And the tag team match was still fun even with all the botches.

Did anyone actually watch Rusev/Titus to know if its worth going back and watching?

 

Well, of Crews/Corbin, I'd rather Corbin come out looking amazing. But Apollo had some nice spots.

If Del Rio hadnt gotten hurt, he would have actually been the perfect next heel after how strong he looked in that ladder match

 

Yes that was a clean finish. Still haven't decided whether that was actually a Pedigree or not.

 

I'd love if Dean being the champ leads to Roman not being a main event guy for a while. Give him some time to work on a new character after SS.

 

I think they wanted Dean to hold the title now so at SS they can say all 3 shield members have been champs. Makes it seem more legit to have Dean there.

 

She seems to be in good spirit.

The amount of wrestling swag in the Cavs locker room over the last five days is my new favorite thing

 

Just getting home. Tonight was fantastic. Can't believe they actually went through with that finish.

- The tag match was a nice way to kick it off. The pop for E&C was nuts. I legit thought they won the match at one point and I'm really confused on what happened because I don't think there was a kick-out and there was a three-count (at least from my view).

- I went to the bathroom/concessions during the Ziggler match but I heard a "this is boring chant" and wasn't surprised. Women's match was whatever. Same goes for Sheamus. Glad they got those out of the way early.

- AJ v Cena was awesome. The crowd was so loud at the beginning of the match. I'm glad Cena lost but sucks it wasn't clean.

- MITB match was great. A little kid behind me inadvertently quoted JR with a "oh my god he killed him" when Sami slammed KO on the sideways ladder. I thought the match would've gone on a little longer but it was still a lot of fun. Obviously happy Dean won.

- Literally no one was watching the Rusev match. Everyone glued to their phone watching the game 7 ending. Seeing all the sad Warriors fans was better than the match.

- Main event started slow because Roman was boring but it was great once Rollins got going. The spear to pedigree was insane and hearing people yell all kinds of curse words after Roman kicked out was perfect. I was shocked when Rollins still got the win after that. Then Ambrose cashing in was rushed but I loved it. Everyone was going nuts and everyone was so happy for Ambrose.

So glad I was able to go to a ppv and it not suck.

 

The ref didn't count 3 during the tag match because Anderson's shoulder wasn't down when he started to count 1. He definitely juked the crowd though.

 

it's going to be so weird tomorrow to have a babyface champion come out that everyone actually loves to cheer for

that hasn't happened since fucking daniel bryan won the title at wm 30 in 2014

 

and to think, he won it from the babyface everyone wanted to cheer for...but, for whatever reason, we had to wait a month for the payoff.
