So the plan it sounds like would be Raw doing live events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Smackdown would be doing live events on Saturday and Sunday.

 

ROH is coming back to South Florida in October. I can finally make it to this one.

 

Notes from Meltzer

• Right now the plan is to have Reigns headline Raw and Cena headline Smackdown with a champ on each brand, but that's not 100% decided
• The women's champion will appear on both brands
• Smackdown could be more wrestling-oriented than Raw
• It's not decided whether or not there will be another set of tag team titles

 

As long as we don't have the Smackdown tag set ups every week, I'm fine with anything.

 

You guys think we get a Coup de Grace off the top of the cage at Takeover?

 

I would love that, but I don't know how they could have Joe kick out

 

I think we get a muscle buster off the top, not like the full top, joe will be on the turnbuckle and will pull balor from the top of the cage, but we'll get something.

Yeah, but Finn is def the kind of guy who would try. It's a terrible terrible idea, but it's Finn.

I think he's mostly taken it out of his moveset due to his ankle injuries.

 

Now I'm really interested to see how the ratings pan out. If SD is more wrestling-oriented AND Cena's the top guy, I wouldn't be shocked if the ratings start to tip a little. I'd take corny af Cena over Reigns any day of the week.

 

I don't think the ratings matter much to USA. They want to show more WWE stuff all the time. It's a weird relationship.

Well, and Cena on a brand run by Shane? There's the chance for something fun and fresh there, as opposed to what RAW will likely become, which is Authority angle #9000. And just when it felt like the authority was gonna die...

How would Joe even take that? The one from the ladder against Owens wasnt that great, and even that looked painful.

I saw Teddy Hart with 3 different cats mania weekend and rumor is he had something like 10 different cats in his car. We had to kick him out of our house at 5 am.
