I generally find Roman boring but he has had good matches with quality opponents - AJ is definitely someone who can potentially get a good match out of him.

 

i really do like roman to be fair, i just hate his finishers and his move set has gotten a bit stale. i think he should be hitting harder, hopefully if he does have a heel turn he'll get rid of one of the finishers and bring something better in.

 

Yeah his moveset is limited but maybe like Cena he will step his game up against the right competition

If you're upset at AJ styles getting a title shot then im kinda very confused and/or you might want to take a long long long break from watching wrestling because the bad news is that we are just two days into a long roman reigns title reign and....this will last a while.

I'm very excited for the vaudevillians. Great gimmick....actually have a gimmck....very pissed they're debuting at smackdown

 

My concern is that Roman's "good" matches the last 6 months or so have been against equally slow dudes. Or in 3-4 man matches. His match with Wyatt was the right level of physical, but they worked REALLY slow. Same thing at TLC v Sheamus. And honestly vs HHH.

He did well in that Raw 4-way match after HIAC, but, that was as much Owens, Ambrose and the others carrying that match.

Also, already annoyed at the Phenomenal Elbow countered by Superman Punch spot that is gonna end that match.

Definitely at peak old man Jericho here. The "stupid idiot" makes me laugh every time.

i watched Mania with my step-dad, who hasn't watched wrestling in a number of years and when Reigns did his little hand motion before the punch, and then the superman punch, my step-dad just about pissed himself with laughter.

There was a better than roman chant a couple times last night, one when Shane came out too.

 

I loved the crowd last night aside from the Bayley chants/beachball stuff.

The crowd got too ridiculous during Charlotte's speech. I say that because I don't think any of their chants had anything to do with Charlotte being heel, they were just being obnoxious, but at least they clapped and chanted "women wrestlers" at the end (or something like that).

 

The whole women's division deserved a speech, the fact that the crowd tore it to shreds says a lot. Gross.

 

Watched Russos YouTube thing and he ripped apart the crowd last night especially for the Women's segment. He talked about how they rattled the performers and how disrespectful it is. Sometimes these can crowds can be fun but too many times they're just annoying ando detracting from the product.

still maintain the problem with the women's segment was having charlotte spend half of it being gracious. if she didn't have to do that she could've been more combative with the crowd earlier on.

 

Ridiculous arguments. Charlotte is a dirty heel that just cheated to win a championship last night. And they put her out there to give a "heart on her sleeve" genuine promo as a sympathetic figure at the beginning.

You know who should've been the one to give that speech? Becky. As it was, it was awful, and I'm not surprised the crowd didn't take it seriously at first.
