I really wish Cesaro would get a shot though...gdamnit

Cesaro will get a shot. It just won't matter unless it is for a different belt.

Any other belt won't matter after they continually demean them...

I eat my words about the Styles burial.

I think Cesaro is the right guy to push any belt. AJ, KO, and Sami with any gold is going to throw significance at them. As long as they give us strong matches against Roman, they should all be pushed in other directions. You have to elevate the midcard and then show us what these smaller guys are capable of. Throwing a belt on Corbin (or a trophy in this case) isn't doing much for the character to start.

So who are the legit contenders against Reigns? Or are they literally just biding time until Seth comes back?

He'll wear the belt until SS. Orton, Cena, and Rollins are the names I'd throw.

If the build is good enough, maybe the two BC guys.

All hail the middle card, then.

  11. and Brock

  12. Payback is in Chicago right? lol good luck Roman

either BC is gonna show up to distract AJ (continuing the angle from Japan) and set up AJ/Finn or we will just get the Bullet Club with AJ back in it

I've been waiting for Finn for what feels like forever

I do not think Styles would be apart of Balor Club, especially since he will not be the leader. He is at a level where him being a goon would not make sense.

Why is everyone convinced that WWE's version of Bullet Club would even include Balor initially or even be called "Balor Club" ? Because they put out some "Balor Club" shirts? They could very well do it with just AJ/Anderson/Gallows.

They're not gonna waste Brock taking an L to Roman. He's gonna disappear for a little while, maybe til a Wyatt feud

  17. probably also because Finn has been teasing it for months now - they're totally going with Balor Club and Finn is going to be the leader

  18. knowing WWE they will do exactly that (the former)

    man, I'm pretty Prestigious

my favorite chant of the night was probably the "better than roman" that sasha got during her 3 minute match with summer rae. "we are idiots" was a good one too. jericho tried his best.

all in all I thought the crowd was fine. definitely better than last year.

  20. and I even liked the Wyatt/LoN direction - that could be interesting

    Are You Watching Closely?

Css said his appearance dates are maxed out at the moment, so Vince will need to work some magic if he wants Brock in any title picture.

First post since Mania last night. I had a blast. Crowd was hot up until after HIAC. Main event was sewage (fun as hell booing Roman out of the building though).

Hated the Rock segment until I thought him abd Bray would come to blows, but it let me down. Ladder match, triple threat, and Austins glass breaking (marked like I would have 15 years ago), were all great. Got to link up and have a beer with Dylan (DeviantRogue) from these boards, which marks the first time I've met anyone from AP, so that was cool. Im anxious to watch Raw. Sounds like it was at least decent. Curious about Payback now.

Shane spot was sick live too.

i'm writing a book, leave me alone.

I'll be shocked if Jericho doesn't cost Styles the match against Reigns.

Having yet to watch / see / hear anything by Enzo and Cass, that was great. Enzo (that's the jittery little guy who talked right?) strikes me as someone who could definitely hold his own with The Rock in a promo. There are far too few of those people in this business.

The fucking IC belt is once again almost worthless. Miz is a goddamn 5-time IC champion? Holy hell...

The whole "Shane is in charge" was not even a thing. what did he do? made the fatal four way? because no one else would do that after those four guys went in the ring right? i hate all those "so-and-so is in charge" things. the show never feels different. we didn't even see or hear Shane do anything. at least come out before one of the matches, cancel it, and make another in its place. at least let us pretend that things are different. have a scene of Shane on the phone saying, "yeah, i need some of you guys to come fix this mess" leaving us to wonder which of the NXT folks he called in. DO SOMETHING. ANYTHING.

  23. Reigns is gonna fight guys like Styles Jericho KO Cesaro Orton Cena for the rest of 2016 / he won't lose belt once but he will turn heel / Rollins is gonna return as face feud with Trips and destroy the Authority / Rollins wins 2017 Rumble

    Rollins/Reigns WM33 Main Event

that prediction (the first part) makes me shiver, haha.

Rollins vs Reigns (c) vs Ambrose - WM33 Main Event is my guess / hope.

Aside from Hogan / Cena has anyone else ever headlined in a title match three-straight years? Hell, I'll have to look to see if Hogan / Cena even did it with the title.
