Oh shittttt. Lio Rush signed with WWE. I kinda knew it was happening, but its good to know it is official.

Please just absorb the cruiserweights into the main roster so he doesn't get wasted like everyone else.

I get nervous about a lot of new signings with WWE now. I'm excited for them and excited that I get to see them more frequently, but it's hard to know if they're going to be used properly in WWE. I hope after NXT he doesn't get pigeonholed into 205 and just gets lost in the shuffle like most of that divison.

 

I think we have at least two years before he is even considered for the main roster. He hasn't had much promo time, so its definitely going to be something he'll be working on for a while. Who knows if 205 live even exists at that point. lol

 

Definitely, I just can't see him ending up anywhere other than 205 Live if things stay the same.

 

Yeah that's def a good point. Really I wish that by then they've learned to utilize the cruiserweights. Whether that's making 205 Live worthwhile to watch with good characters/storylines or they just cancel 205 Live and incorporate the cruiserweights into both Raw and SD Live, I don't care. I just hate seeing these guys wasted.

 

Yeahhhh so much young talent being wasted. And I guess Drew Gulak is there too.

Noam, Cedric, and Swann have so much potential, yet they get relegated to Alicia Fox storylines.

Oney Lorcan and Aleister Black are making NXT for me rn.

 

That storyline was ok in the beginning. Decent way to get sympathy for Cedric and heat on Noam, but the fact that it's basically still going however many months later is absurd! Plus the mishandling of the division has already cost them Austin Aries. Hope it doesn't cost them even more guys.

 

Rush is so good. Hope he does well in NXT, crazy how young he is too

Put Enzo in the Cruiserweight division and I guarantee interest for the casual fans will go up a ton. They'd be dumb not to. What do they have to lose? Granted he's not as talented in the ring as any of those guys, but easily better on the mic which is what that division is missing.

Instead they'll stick him with the Big Show or become a pure comedy act like Santino.

 

The shitty thing about 205 Live is that the people with mic skills are Neville, Alicia Fox, Kendrick, and AA (rip) because they all spent time in some type of dev. None of them went into that division without previous work and it shows. If they end up using some of these smaller guys coming through NXT/TNA, they are going to be a lot better off for it. 205 shouldn't be a developmental brand when it is filmed AFTER Smackdown.
