I feel like this way gets more character development out of Carmella. "I earned it, you tried to take it from me, and I earned it again" is better than just "I earned it"

 

If she won it like that the first time nobody would have cared because nobody gave a single fuck about her. She got 0 reaction and y'all mentioned it every time. She got the heat from MITB and tonight y'all were in love. This was a good call.

And from Becky, who got legit shafted by Ellsworth, and here just gets the standard babyface moment yet failure.

No idea what Charlotte/Natty were doing towards the end though

 

It's okay to be sexist if you become famous because of it, good logic. Or you could actually be good at your job and not have to go as far as that just to get someone over? Must have one hell of an agent to make wwe take that hit just so people would literally respond to her at all.

I wish they delt more with Becky grappling with the juxtaposition of "What Carmella did was technically legal (lawful face)" and "that was bullshit (chaotic face)". Hopefully they lean more into that. Bryan forcing Carmella to defend it *again* because Ellsworth wasnt supposed to be there would be perfect

 

We'll see if the heat stays now that she has won it legitimately and won't be heeling off against someone as over as Daniel Bryan every week. I'm not anti-Carmella. I think she's never been given a decent storyline on the main roster besides Ellsworth and she was the right choice to win. I don't see how this does anything for her moving forward that wouldn't have been accomplished with her using a steel chair and unhooking the briefcase the first time
