They probably wanted a former wrestler in that role, but Renee would have been fantastic next to JR.

 

I love Lita but she is so, so bad when she appears on the PPV preshows, definitely not the ideal choice for the second seat at the desk.

we've suffered through Saxton, Otunga, JBL, and King for a long time. I think it's cool to give Lita the spot. She's not worse than any of them.

 

Man I would have loved to hear SDR commentate now that someone mentioned her. Hell, have her be the veteran that competes in the tournament

 

I feel like that would almost be unfair on a kayfabe standpoint since she trained several of the girls lol

 

I'm glad they share the same sentiment about the Usos as me. They nailed it.

 

I know he probably wouldn't now cause it wouldn't be seen as his idea, but WWE really should do a month long G1 type tournament. It's an easy way to push mid and smaller guys, you'd see some fresh matchups that you probably wouldn't see otherwise (at least recently or for a while), and it could give birth to months' worth of storylines. Ughhh.

 

Eh I feel like it's a set up to fail on those pre-shows. Having to stay completely kayfabe makes it so fucking corny. Commentating is a different animal.

 

Very true. I'd love to see Lita knock it out of the park, just a little weary based on what we've seen from her recently.

Yeesh...I mean, D-Bry has his issues with the CWC, and having Mauro really helped him, so maybe JR can drag Lita through the thing...but Ive gotten no sense she is any good at all. And Daniel is so into wrestling he could pull off commentating thats not the sense I get from Lita either.

 

Well the classic is taped. If she fucks up real bad she can just re-do everything.

 

That's why I figure it isn't a huge deal. I'm just hoping she can keep names straight.

 

Also, as much as I enjoy JR, I kinda wish Mauro was calling the tournament. He was fantastic last year.
