Had the seem feeling on the Cass promo overall. Like the part of the Jeri-KO breakup where Jericho told him its the most fun he's had in years...that felt genuine...same way Cass thinking Enzo was holding him back felt genuine.

Enzo certainly isnt going anywhere though. In a RAW world where Bo and Curtis have relevancy, a guy like enzo is gonna stick around for some time.

 

I can't believe half this thread trashed that Cass promo. Buncha GEEKS.

The Cass promo was great. I fully expect the build in this feud to be great. I fully expect any matches they have to be shit sandwiches.

 

I thought his acting and delivery were fine, I hate that they didn't let him be who he actually is and scripted him so poorly. He has a phd, if you're gonna make him a heel let him be himself.

 

I don't necessarily disagree with the stuff you and Mick are saying, I just think that whole story itself is that the moment was ruined by a dude. Just feels like that's what they were going for. And also it's not settled yet, and D Bry and Shane reacted quickly...it just seems like they knew people would be talking about it. Maybe I'm giving them too much credit.

Regardless - it was too early to break up Enzo and Cass and that whole "who attacked Enzo?!" storyline was just as dumb as Kevin Nash texting himself a few years ago, so yes, I think it was handled worse.

 

The footage of Cass "attacking" himself, while Corey explained it for 45 seconds....that was god awful.

 

We don't disagree; I just don't give them the credit for thinking that far forward about a storyline like that. Enzo/Cass, no matter how it was handled, should not be broken up already. The fact that it was done terribly is icing on the cake.

 

So I won't be getting booted in the face on this day. Blessed.

 

im really into smackdown tonight. im one of the few people that actually enjoyed MitB. There are a bunch of storylines im interested in seeing where they go

they still have to figure out a way to transition all this awesomeness of breezango into the ring. they're still not getting that big of a reaction, especially while they wrestle.

 

I love that they had to go with Fashion Patrol because of the tv show.

 

I feel like the one time they got that reaction was that time that Breeze wasn't even in the ring. Which was super confusing that Fandango was with some random janitor.
