Who has the more punchable face?: Pete Dunne or NXT era Tyson Kidd?

That is a tough one. I think I have to go with Kidd.

Welp, Meltz is reporting in the newsletter that his contract expires this month and WWE have shown great interest in him

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

ROH couldn't even figure out what the hell to do with him. Such a bummer.

I'm getting to the point where I'm hoping a lot of indies guys dont end up in WWE because they are just going to become watered down. But I also want them to get paid so its a double edged sword.

With me there is always the hope that the influx of great indie talent coming in can really establish a change in the years to come once they hit the main roster. But I know that is nonsense.

    Sigh.

Well, we've seen an undeniable improvement in in-ring talent. 2016 had at least one 4* match in every PPV til Roadblock. We got a half dozen 4.5* matches where new/indie talent (AJ, KO, etc) did things WWE's home grown people couldn't.

And of course NXT, which suffered in the 2nd half of 2016, is already on the upswing because of all the signings. When you have 10+ incredible options to pick from, any pairing of 2 can work.

RAW may never change until Vince dies; but I can definitely say that its gotten much better overall in the 2 years I've been back watching. I had to watch Charlotte/Paige or Twin Magic and take it seriously, and now we're getting Womens MITB on the back of HIAC and Cage matches. I dont have to watch a dumpster fire like Ryback carry the mid-card belt for months. Extreme Rules 2 years ago had a Kiss My Arse match...

Vince seems a lot more receptive today. Just look at The New Day. If people go to him with ideas, he'll give it a shot. Confidence is key. Every podcast that's had a WWE talent says their life changed for the better when they realized they could walk into the office and pitch him ideas.

NXT is weird because they're clearly doing well, but the entire upper card is all dudes that were established elsewhere, and there aren't really many WWE-grown guys like they had in the previous eras.

I admittedly don't watch nearly as much NXT as I'd like to, but it'll be interesting to see what happens next, because a lot of those guys are already up there in age.

Kyle O'reilly, Adam Cole and Dalton Castle all arriving potentially around the same time in NXT is super exciting.

I think Aleister Black will be one of the fastest transitions from NXT to the main roster yet. Dude is probably my favorite person to watch rn

    No Fun. Not Ever.

My buddy always talked him up before NXT. Kinda pissed at myself for not paying attention before.

Apparently at the tapping he had his first back and forth match. It may have been a dark match though, which is a bummer.

also not mentioned yet in this thread:

apparently WWE has deals in place with ICW and Progress to the point that all they need is Vince's approval and it's a go.

Can you spoiler tag who it was against? Curious.
I only am familiar with his sporadic PWG stuff so I'm kinda in the same boat.

Not sure if he's talking about the Kassius Ohno match he had but that would make the most sense and I cannot wait for it to air

I love these WWE 24 episodes they do. Love seeing the real reactions these guys have being called up and when something big happens (ala the Finn Balor injury). Also showing them map out their entrances is really interesting.
