I have no issue with dean, but I don't really care for him either. Since he has become intercontinental champ his run has been pretty stagnant but you could easily blame that on booking as well.

When he was WWE champion I think that has been his best run, he was a believable champion which was a breath of fresh air since lately every top champion needed shenanigans to come out on top. I think if they let him have his character "unhinged", and not sticking to the comedy personality, he could have more potential.

 

I still really enjoy Dean, and I'm sure after Mania things will hopefully get better for him. If Dean turns heel, watch out.

Smackdown seems to be going further in blurring the lines between heel/face than Raw by a good shot, not sure if it's explicitly intended or just a natural side effect of quality writing. The faces tend to have mean streaks, and the heels tend to have legitimate gripes. Talking Smack has done a lot to further both sides of that coin.

 

Ambrose is awesome and has been 100% the result of bad booking

Alvarez's rants are hilarious when warranted (i.e. 2009 TNA PPVs) and are annoying as hell when they're not

 

Id actually like to see how they write for a guy like Sami on Smackdown. Cause Smackdown doesnt have any real pure babyfaces on the mens side, and what they do have thats close (Crews, Kalisto, AA), they either havent given promo time, or they are shit at it.

But the way they've handled Becky overall wouldnt have me super hopeful

 

I just love when he gets idiot callers. Dude has ZERO patience and its hilarious.
