In an unfortunate miscommunication, the ring announcer revealed during intermission that the next show would be headlined by Hogan vs. Gang, essentially spoiling the finish. When it became obvious to fans that Gang was about to win the match, fans began to jeer, according to a Wrestling Observer account of the show in 1987.

So, Roman wasnt even the first known winner to get turned on!

 

I completely forgot they had Roman break Kanes record for eliminations a few years ago. Ouy.

 

I like that idea. I'd like to see Stroman eliminate Lesnar as well to set that up.

Eliminations for a single rumble or career eliminations?

 

Single.

 

Mine is Roman winning the belt, Taker winning the Rumble, and that being the WM match. Because there is no good outcome there...Taker as champ blows, as does Roman beating taker at WM.

Next worst scenario is Brock or Goldberg winning it, cause it means Brock/Goldberg at WM is for the Universal Title.

 

Baron or Braun for me. Either way, it could set up his WM match and start a more interesting path. Honestly, Braun v Taker, while not a great in-ring match, could be a nice build.

 

So would one of them win the belt at fast lane then?

 

I honestly see both AJ and Owens losing the belts. Which is going to piss me the fuck off.

And honestly for the Rumble, I'm torn between Taker/Goldberg/Joe.

 

Roman heel turn is the only scenario that makes this even somewhat okay

 

Yep, making it even worse. Odds are it'd be KO losing to Goldberg at Fastlane, since Goldberg technically has an extra match, and I dont see them having reigns win then dump it so fast.

Roman cheating and turning heel at WM to beat Taker would be the most epic way to do it, I guess

 

Worst case scenario is Roman winning the belt, entering and winning the Rumble, and going after the WWE Championship. He's THE GUY, not held down by any show.

 

Yeah when he mentioned having that last title run on the raw after Survivor series I was hoping it actually didn't come to fruition, but seeing how the matches end on Sunday it seems like it's a possibility for fast lane.

 

All I'm saying is the fact that the dudes can take those massive strikes to the head in the corner and immediately jump up and run across the ring is ridiculous. Ridiculous. It takes me out of the immersion every. single. time.

 

The worst case scenario for the rumble, for me, is Mojo NOT coming out at #8, though if Chrisley came out at #8, that'd make up for it

 

Could honestly see both Owens and AJ retaining.
