You already know you're not gonna watch?

 

Well I have a concert scheduled that night.

 

A lot to unpack with those rumors.

- If Goldberg/Lesnar is for the Universal title, how does that even happen? Lesnar/Owens or Goldberg/Owens at Fastlane?

- Roman/Undertaker is a horrible pairing. Both guys can have a great match with the right guy, but this sounds like a slog. Silver lining there would be that it might signal a bit of a turn towards heel/tweener, for however briefly, because Roman is going to get eaten alive in the markets Raw is in pre-mania... especially across from one of the most over guys ever.

- Jeri-ko does nothing for me. I love both guys to death, but they've had matches before that were just okay, and I really don't want either of them to turn face to accommodate this feud.

- Wyatt/Orton stuff sounds fantastic. I really want to see that. It sucks that the family angle has to blow off so soon to get us there, though.

- Women's match will steal the show. All in on that.

Soooo much empty space to fill though. The rumored matches only comprise maybe two hours of a six hour show. No mention of almost anything at all from Smackdown. Mania could still wind up being very, very good.

 

all I know is I'll settle for a lot of shit if I get a decent Bray title run. Been waiting so long.

 

In the same way people are 100% down for Bray winning a title at all cost, I see the Jeri-KO feud as the way to re-establish the arrogant, vicious Kevin Owens. Watching the Last Man Standing match with Dean from a year ago, he's still hilarious, but it comes with that vicious side. The "stay down" and "you did this...you did this!". We need that back since most of RAW's other monster heels have been neutered.

And beating the fuck out of Jericho at WM to get the crowd to turn on him. Snapping the list in half. Hitting Jericho with a codebreaker and putting him in the walls. Yeah, that'd do it.

 

I'm not sure we want this thread to be walls of black boxes.

Which means my sister will dump a shitload of money on it for my mom and me. Hopefully I can care about live shows again by then.

I'm going to three shows in April and am totally hitting the fatigue.

 

Progress and WWE spoilers

Pete Dunne has been pulled from Sunday's PROGRESS show by WWE. He's been advertised in the main event to defend his title against number 1 contender Jimmy Havoc, but apparently WWE has pulled him days before the event. Sucks so much for PROGRESS, but double edged sword when you deal with WWE. He's due to be in San Antonio this weekend along with Mark Andrews, Tyler Bate, Wolfgang, and Trent Seven. That'll be consecutive shows for PROGRESS without their tag team and singles champion.

This is so crazy to me given some of the shoot interviews Road Dogg has given.

There was a story going around that Brian James (Road Dogg) had replaced Ryan Ward as the head writer of Smackdown. The story is actually that James got a corporate promotion (the official title may be head consultant but we didn’t get the exact wording confirmed) , over Ward, but they are sharing the job of pitching Smackdown to Vince McMahon, who then rewrites it as he sees fit. James has been the guy reading the show to the other producers at the production meeting for some time now. So it’s not a major change in the show, nor are rumors Ward is no longer with the show correct, only that James got a promotion and would technically be above Ward in that way, but Ward is also still technically titled the lead writer of the show. James and Ward have essentially been co-head writer of the show since it started getting praised. James is considered Paul Levesque’s emissary on the show and to be one of the major power brokers going forward, particularly if and when Levesque does take over

Gotta hand it to Kenny. In this day and age getting everyone to be completely unsure on whats going on is pretty impressive.

Of course, if he does come to WWE many people will be like "duh it was obvious" and if he stays in Japan people will also be like "duh it was obvious".

 

What if he went to TNA

 

I listened to one of the many interviews he did recently and he used the word 'impact' in a funny way then had to make it clear he wasnt talkin about TNA whatsoever lol.
