Nak/AJ definitely needs to be a WM match

 

Jeff vs Matt is never happening again.

 

I feel like a lot of these, outside of an Angle return, aren't going to appeal to many outside of the people like us who would watch Mania no matter what was booked. Owens/Zayn, Styles/Nak etc are great matches but would appeal mainly to diehards. There's not a whole lot on the horizon that would pull in the people who turn up to see marquee names etc.

I would honestly like to see Cena/Lesnar again and I think that's the biggest match you can slap on a poster by an order of magnitude. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Goldberg come back for a couple more checks and put over Reigns or Strowman either.

 

Please god no more Goldberg.

Jeri-KO, Seth/HHH, Taker/Roman, hell even Shane/AJ is the model for how you do veteran matches...focused on putting over new stars while also have drawing power. And 2 of those had the best build of WM, and another was the best match.

The notion that they need big stars for one off matches is exactly why WM has sucked as an overall event the last 2 years

Maybe they are keeping him under wraps for now until they figure out what to do with him for the PPV

6-foot-7 hoss Donovan Dijak joins WWE PC

 

Meltzer was raving about the Dijak/Keith Lee match from night 3. Said it was one of the best matches in the US this year. Compared it to Taker/Michaels, but with better moves.

 

Dude should get a Cass push nd then some

 

He also said the details of the match were completely forgettable. lol

 

Yeah I'm waiting for after their next PPV to add more to the lineup.
