The stat that Kelly Kelly has successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship as many times as Bray did with the WWE title is glorious.

 

Man, that has everything. Dana Brooke and Tamina both being a 2x champ before Bayley is my favorite part; though the fact that the Sasha/Charlotte title swapping would also play into this is great too

Since I can't say this to most of my friends without getting laughed at, it's that time of the year where I wish I was standing hours in line with a $75 ticket to see a wrestling show in an American legion.

 

Only thing that would've been better in that JBL post is if it said "this ends my 20+ year relationship with the WWE."

 

The New Day have provided us with many guffaws over the last couple of years, but this is truly their magnum opus.

 

I love Mauro on NXT now though.

 

Don't think Mauro's going anywhere. He has his other commitments now and the NXT schedule is easy. Plus less micromanagement on the headset.

 

If anything, they'd move Nigel, since NXT is like a 2 day a month job at worst. But seeing as he left Sept 1, Im guessing this has been planned long enough that they have somebody ready

PW Insider is reporting Samoa Joe was seen in Birmingham, Alabama earlier this week for treatment on his knee and his updated recovery time is 4-to-6 weeks

 

Ideally Renee Young would get the SmackDown job but I don't think they'd do it. Fully expecting Lawler to be back full time

I thought she was fine. Just a little too...positive? Idk

 

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Renee get another shot even though her past commentary was not good but I feel like it's definitely going to be Lawler.

Mike Johnson was asked today why Corbin may have lost his push, and he revealed the following, some of the following information he's gotten from four different people, all of which gave the same information:

Corbin doesn't have heat over Twitter, they don't care about that.

Johnson said that he'd heard from four different wrestlers within the company that at a talent meeting before the show, the head of WWE's wellness policy, Joseph Maroon, brought up the concussion lawsuit/CTE/football and Corbin, in front of everyone, said he'd worked for the NBA and was a former football player and said it was said that he [Corbin] shat on everything Maroon said, it was described as "awkward" and caused the people leading the meeting to lose track multiple times, Corbin kept saying that Maroon wasn't right about CTE.

Because of how Corbin handled it in front of everyone instead of pulling Maroon to the side after the meeting and how it was in front of top execs within the company, they believe that's why he has heat.

Johnson didn't say that this was the sole reason, he said this is what four different people within the company think is why. So make of that what you will. I know this is worded awfully because I typed as I listened.

 

Please don't try to make me like Corbin.
