I have still played almost no Fire Pro yet spent...probably a good 10 hours in the creation tools.

4 stars for the both the tag team matches at Summerslam
4 and 3/4 for the 4 way main event

I believe it was @preppyak who said it and he was right, 4 of the 5 takeover matches recieved either 4 and 1/4 *'s or 4 and 1/2 *'s.

 

Meltz is crazy to rank Roode/McIntyre over the NXT tag title match imo

 

Definitely, I wonder if he amped it up because of the angle with Cole.

 

I was wondering as well. He definitely has more of an appreciation for the WWE main event formula than the average viewer, which is fine. Just thought that tag match was something else.

 

The NXT title match was the only match on the show that made me think "that was just okay." Tag titles were way better, but Meltz has been crazy for a while

 

At least he gave the Asuka match the highest rating of the night. Easily deserved that.

 

The NXT title match would've been the second or third best match on Summerslam honestly. It was the crowd that killed that match, because of how drained they were by then

 

I just find Roode to have a boring style

 

Agreed. I was gonna say that he tends to hate gimmicky matches, but, he gave AJ/KO the same 3.75 score, so its not like he downgraded that because of the booking.

Only argument I could find is that all the biggest spots were done by people who werent in the match (Nikki + Killian).

 

Usos vs. New Day: 4
Banks vs. Bliss: 3
Neville vs. Tozawa: 3.5
Balor vs. Wyatt: 2.75
Ambrose/Rollins vs. Cesaro/Sheamus: 4
Natalya vs. Naomi: 3
Styles vs. Owens: 3.75
Lesnar vs. Joe vs. Reigns vs. Strowman: 4.75

Thats what the main card of Summerslam should have looked like. 8 matches from 7-11, ordered to mix up the ring styles a bit. Give more time to Neville/Tozawa, and they could have done more in Balor/Wyatt too. Could have had a main card, all matches 3+ stars, and probably 5 at 4+ stars (Id bet Neville/Tozawa could go up, as could AJ/KO).

And relegate Cass/Show and Orton/Rusev to the pre-show where it belonged. Throw Jinder/Nak in as a blowoff match wherever.

We'd remember Summerslam a lot more fondly if they hadnt put 2 of the best 4 matches on the pre-show.

I think he has a style that is far better suited to the main roster. As a dickhead heel on SD, I think he'll fit in just fine and his slower, methodical pace will work better.

 

He was babyface as fuck on his first appearance on tuesday haha.

 

I think he was always going to get that, like most NXT call ups. I give it a week or two and he'll be talking shit again haha
