what's been really bizarre to me this past month is WWE not doing anything with Jade after her Rumble debut

 

That's always more or less been my read, I just wonder how much there is of "I'm not putting this guy over" at the top level.

It also just sort of begs the question of Tony - why keep these guys? If they're a headache to you, and they're not serving you any purpose, why waste the money? If the answer is "well, we don't want them drawing money elsewhere", then, draw money with them yourself. By not utilizing them, you're essentially saying they can't make you money, or they're too much of a hassle to try to make money with.

This stuff is why I dislike a lot of the random one-shots on AEW TV. There's so many guys on that roster just doing nothing.

EDIT: And yes, the Jade stuff is weird, too. I assume they didn't want her to lose in the Chamber, but to only have her appear on TV once since then in a backstage segment is a bummer. I've been wondering if they're still gonna do her and Bianca at Mania.

it’s especially weird since she’s had several months in the performance center;and she wasn’t a bad wrestler to begin with. Let her do some cool spots, and then do the “ everyone teams up and hits their finishers to knock her out” thing to protect her

Jade was on TV for a few weeks for the whole contract negotiation along with Bron. I would assume that she’s going to something at Mania, but I have a feeling Bianca will at least be involved with Tiffany after the last few weeks.
