there's no fire, just a persistent stream of passive aggression between the same users and same admin as when i logged off for three straight years lmao. every time i go into a music thread i'm like "oh, no, actually!"

 

this thread, baseball thread, and drive by "LFG"s in threads for upcoming albums/shows/movies i'm excited for lol.

 

Come to the hip hop thread, it's all love in there

this thread is largely the most entertaining place to talk wrestling imo

everyone kinda follows everything. there’s no overtly insane tribalism that makes people not call out companies when they’re being fucking stupid

 

yeah this thread is kinda lightning in a bottle for wrestling in general. only other healthy place ive talked wrasslin' was bustedquad in the early '00s lol

i am truly 100 percent in the blind on that stuff these days, the one downside to my general e-reclusiveness. i didn't know Front Bottoms had problematic handling of things until i logged back in here and that was years ago lol

just for conversation sake, cena's rumble win in 2008... he didn't want to wait for mania; challenged orton at no way out the next month. fuckery in that match birthed a three way including hhh at mania 24. i won't be mad at all if cody wins a title at chamber. just do a better job of composing the chapters within cody's story. this one makes very little sense.

So if the match with The Rock was already sigbed in the beginning of January then what was the plan for Punk at Mania? Wasn't he suppose to challenge Rollins.

Just don't go in those threads. Some of them feel like they are run by cliques and if you remotely say anything they don't like then they will try to run you out in aggressive fashion. It's not worth your time, energy or mental health.

there was a lil discussion i saw about how MITB is antithetical to HHH's booking style, and that is a good point and reason it's been so devalued.

i wonder if it'll ever go in a different direction. have a young, brand new babyface like Bron Breakker win it. have him in his hubris announce in advance he is cashing it in for the main event of the next PLE. have him push the champ to their absolute limits and have him lose clean and establish himself.

or do one for the Intercontinental Title so Gunther has cause to sweat

this has been my weekly beg for wrestlers to lose sometimes

 

I wouldn't mind seeing Bron VS Gunther. Most of Gunther's opponent were smaller than him. It will be refreshing to see him fighting from beneath for once. Another option would be to do a multimen IC ladder match. Anything to take him out of his comfort zone would be refreshing.
