#30 is usually a surprise, right? I know there’s a few years where we know in advance or someone wins that spot but I will forever be baffled at Cody being #30 last year but that not being revealed ahead of time so after #29 it was like, “oh ok so Cody is 30. Cool I guess”.

also surprising since Cody seems to be the kind of person that wants to prove he “earned” everything and overcame every obstacle the world has ever known and being #30 doesn’t jive with that lol

 

Watched the 2002(?) Rumble match that the Rock “won” and I think every person that was in a pre-Rumble match was also in the Rumble match which is weird because I felt like the reactions weren’t as much of a pop as they should have been since everyone just saw them like 2 hours ago. I hope the same doesn’t happen for the Knight, Styles and Orton if they are in the match tonight.

 

They have booked #30 in a lot of ways including major disappointments lol

Watching the '97 Rumble. One weird production thing they tried back then was during matches cutting to a backstage interview guy in crowd interviewing fans. They just did a cut in this Taker/Vader match to talk to a girl about how she saved up all her babysitting money to come see Shawn Michaels.

 

I forgot that this Rumble WWE partnered with AAA. Perro Aguayo Jr had a pre-show match at this show at the age of 17. Also Mil Mascaras, Cibernetico, Blue Demon Jr, Super Crazy on this show too.
