Knight has been feuding with The Bloodline for a few months, Styles got taken out by the Bloodline several months ago, and The Bloodline put Orton on the shelf for over a year. The story is essentially that Roman’s past is catching up to him and now the odds are against him (25% chance!).

WWE’s roster has so many guys that are over that neither being in the Rumble (for now) hurts the match.
