i'm away for a day and y'all convince yourself WWE is gonna spend Okada money to put him in NXT

 

Only way Okada is going to NXT is if he requests to go to NXT. And even then, I can't wort out why he'd want to.

 

He should tour and show up on each show for like 2 weeks. Bill it as him sizing up all the competition before picking raw or whatever as his main show.

According to SI, Cody is not in the main event at Mania this year and will not “finish the story”

 

I mean, he also says Gunther is going to squash Rollins and wrestlemania which I don’t think is happening either

I feel pretty confident saying I don’t think anyone actually knows what’s happening re: Cody/Roman/Rock. If I was betting money, I’m going Cody Roman main event.

I would love if Gunther won the world title at WM.

 

I also wouldn’t be shocked if they do a year long build for Rock/Roman like they did for Cena/Rock and just do it next mania

 

With his limited availability, I highly doubt they do a year long build. If he's available now, they take advantage of it this year.

 

Yeah I think him showing up at the end of mania, and then teasing it all year with the lead up to the Netflix deal makes a ton of sense. Get people interested in what’s going on around the time that Raw is suddenly in nearly everyone’s home.

 

FWIW, Boozer, the insider on Twitter, says Cody is ecstatic about his WM plans.

This guy has also been hinting at a new stable Triple H has been cooking up for a few months, possibly with Styles as the leader.

 

I don’t trust Boozer at all.

 

He’s hit or miss but he’s been spot on with several things months ahead (Punk’s return, Karrion Kross’s current story, Iyo winning the belt).

 

That's the thing with insiders. They get fed info at a certain time and it may well be true at the time, but things change. Then everyone will scream every name under the sun at them when it does change, conveniently forgetting when they've been spot on.

Not aimed at anyone on here. You see it a lot around the transfer deadline in football. People get a few things right and when they do get one wrong, they're hounded and abused for months.

If I got fed info, I definitely wouldn't tell anyone haha. Or maybe just feed it to someone else and let them take the heat.

I still wish they would lean into the 2000's indie era for stories instead of trying to mine the 80's territory era and 90's ECW stuff dry.

I think Sherri is the one this season I am most looking forward to.

 

Of all the ideas floating around for the Mania main event scenario, I think I've landed on my favorite being The Rock not working Mania this year and instead going the Mania 27/28 route like they did with Cena.

Seems fairly unlikely, though, given that Rock's schedule just seems to coincide with being available now.

 

Wasn’t Angle going to have an episode?

The Earthquake episode is going to be a sad one rather than a dark one. He seemed like the sweetest guy.

 

I think Angle thing was reported by Meltzer so I dunno. The guys behind this show I guess film stuff far ahead of time, so they might be saving Angle for later. They also said they were working on a secret project for The Rock's production company so maybe its for that.
