I'll watch Rumble, WM, and whenever Owens has a world title shot.

 

It’s still just too much time in a week for my brain. I’ll always watch the PPVs especially the big 4. And make it a point to watch a match on raw or Smackdown if it’s talked about a ton.

They just make it entirely too easy (and it’s a good thing) to browse their socials after raw or Smackdown ends and all the shit is just right there.

 

I usually watch the first hour of raw and then either involuntarily fall asleep on the couch or actually go to bed because I’m a 60 year old man

 

Same boat. Every time I watch a few minutes of something live I just don’t care. I’ll prob watch the rumble but end up being disappointed if Mercedes shows up or something..

 

raw just feels like a battle to get through every week, will toss it on for background noise or skim through my dvr if there are some promos I wanna peep. the matches are so paint by numbers IMO I don't really ever feel the need to watch them unless its someone I like. their ppvs have been delivering so I'll just keep my routine of watching the big shows lol

 

3 hours on a Monday after a work day is a lot. It’s sometimes a struggle to make it through dynamite

Even when I was fully in on WWE this was the case for me. I fucking fell asleep the night Bryan announced his retirement. Woke up, rewound it to the beginning of the segment, watched it, cried like a fucking baby until I fell back asleep lol

 

Watching the 90 minute version on Hulu is a lot more manageable, but I'll still always fall asleep because I can't usually start it until my girlfriend goes to bed.

 

Supposedly they stopped the canned audience noise? At least on raw. It was a Kevin Dunn thing

 

I haven't noticed the canned audience, except I was wondering if they piped in boos whenever Dom tries to speak because it's so loud.

 

they for sure pipe in boos or crowd noise for ppl they want to get over, but the last year or so they've been so popular i dont even think its necessary. I went to smackdown last time they came here because its probably the last time cena would ever wrestle here and it was the loudest shit i've heard in my life

 

Dom's reactions are legit but they do manipulate the volume. The boos are loud but not THAT loud.

 

Bron/Corbin vs. Axiom/Fraser was fantastic. That would have been an amazing final.

(I know there are a million other dumber things wrestlers have done than the MitB winner being in the Rumble match but not sure anything will top Theory’s stupidity for me. Maybe if a MitB winner challenges for the tag titles by himself lol)

 

Wait maybe that’s brilliant. If the MitB winner cashes in on a tag-team and wins, is he or she alone the tag champs? Or does that person just replace who they pinned in the tag team??

 

I think the person cashing in would be alone the tag champ, but since Braun and Nicolas had to relinquish the night after mania I’m unsure if they would be allowed to defend them alone or forced to drop the titles.

I'm definitely just in only ppv mode at this point in my wrestling career. The ppvs for wwe lately have been very solid. One of the best streaks in a while.

The TV shows have been better but they're still mostly terrible. My biggest gripe with wwe lately is that everythingggg is jokey or light. Can we have one heel actually beat the shit out of a face? Can we have SOME intensity sometimes?

They also really lost me when Cody lost and they added another title for no reason. Its such a shame because I honestly believe Cody winning last year would have been wwe in its best era in a decade

 

I’ve never been forehead to forehead with someone before and idk that’s making me scrunch up my face / wince just thinking about staring into the eyes of a person less than inch away from my eyes. Mostly it just has to do with having anything that close to my eyes that would bug me big time lol
