What a weird finish to that fatal four way but fun match. Miz is so good when he randomly steps up his game.

Have we got “Mystery man removes Sting mask to reveal he’s actually Sting” in AEW yet? My second favorite wrestling trope

Right, but the counterpoint is he could be doing what Seth or Gunther are doing and working matches that elevate some people in the process, or advance stories beyond just himself. Like Seth is mostly working PPV matches (aside from tonight), but still being a key cog in the show. When Romans not working, SD talent just flounder (see: LA Knight, who'd have had a match v Roman at like, MITB or Summerslam but for Roman never working).

Had Roman lost the belt and done what he's doing now...it'd honestly be perfect (especially putting Jey over, for example). He could be taking this current break, worked a random Saudi match, worked SS, worked the Rumble and set up his WM feud out of that.

Im genuinely terrified of what they're gonna come up with.

Gonna watch my first RAW in god knows how long just to see Sami v Seth. Maybe we'll even get a re-do of that god tier Sami rolled ankle sell

I am the least surprised person ever by this ending to a RAW

edit: Though I do love a crowd pre-popping because they know a GM is about to saw "War Games". It was kinda ruined by them running the War Games ads during every commercial break of that title match though...

Well, there's WARGAMES. Maybe next year, Regal.

  10. so Rollins/Zayn/Jey/Cody vs Judgment Day and JD

based on talent alone that should be a clean sweep

assuming Rollins team gets KO and JD team either gets Jimmy or Drew

  11. this is bad tho lol

All the NXT War Games matches were 4 v 4...could see them sticking with that formula for match time reasons (there's like 5mins wasted on having 5 v 5 vs 4 v 4)

Dominik & McDonagh are the designated “take bump off cage” guys for the match.

  14. but wasn't last year's war games 5v5 - Roman Usos Solo and Sami right?

Damn that does not feel like a year ago. The post rumble beat down on Sami does not feel like a year ago
