Both shows were awesome this weeknd. Favorites from WK are Takeshita/Takagi and Iwatani/AZM and from WD obviously Omega/Kidd

 

It’s wild he now has three companies paying him (DDT, AEW, NJPW). You truly love to see it.

AEW has not done Omega justice, which sucks. Dude is the real wrestling final boss and should be treated as such. I know a lot of it was his doing of wanting to be out of the main picture and put others over, but he really needs to have a good showcase run.

 

He’s gotta get over it now because they need him

 

Same thing is true (but even more so) with Okada.

THough Kenny was treated really well his first year/year and a half...that whole story with Hangman was a perfect use for him. And pretty much all of 2022 was injuries and Brawl Out. The only thing they really botched (as is usually the case in AEW) was his Jericho angle. Like he was never booked as poorly as Okada, just existing to say "bitch" and lose in 6-man tag matches to random mid-card stables.

From what he said, they just started getting released to stores recently. I was getting impatient and wanted to just grab one from Ringside but he told me to wait. I'll never question that man when it comes to figures lol. Good luck to you!

 

Yeah I'll wait it out. My target's wrestling figure section only has the Hangman and Britt Baker exclusives. Hopefully next time I go the shelves are full of different figures lol. walmart's selection has been getting a little bigger at least

 

Last time I checked Target they had an Ultimate Asuka that I'm still pissed I didn't grab. Looks so good.

 

I almost grabbed that from one of Ringside's sales but when I checked again the next day they were gone. Just gotta go for it next time lol

Completely agree. The way they booked Ospreay in 2024 is how Omega should have been booked this whole time. Guess we’re about to find out if that changes.

 

AEW feel afraid to have a true #1 guy, like they’re worried it’ll alienate the roster or something if they’re like WWE having a superstar. But you need a reset in the main event. You need Ospreay/Okada/Omega leading that charge this year. Mix in Strickland and Hangman and you have an incredible main event scene that feels a bit wasted at the moment.

 

the best thing AEW can do is kill this angle immediately

 

Extremely disappointing that Hogans dumb ass will be on the show tonight but will watch for Penta and Big Match John
