I don’t follow WWE very closely these days so correct me if I’m wrong but I feel like Trips / the writers room rely way too much on backstage attacks. Seems like every story shows clips of someone being attacked backstage and seems like a weekly occurrence- sometimes even more than one time per show

 

I think someone said it in here a week or so ago but the New Day story could have Kofi and Woods go heel, E tries to win them over and be faces again and ultimately wins them back over by turning heel himself, thus the team stays together and go on a massive heel run

 

Big E is absolutely getting the Edge push in the rumble

Would actually be a very fun War Games setup next year if its Heel New Day v Face Bloodline. And New Day gets their Captain and Big O back on their side for it.

The long-running joke is that the most dangerous place in the world from 2015->2019 was the NXT parking lot. Every time they needed to write someone off for story or injury (or just add heat to a feud), someone would get f'd up in the Full Sail parking lot. And sometimes security cameras would catch it and sometimes they wouldnt, conveniently. There was a months long arc that was Nikki Cross being the only one who saw who attacked Aleister Black that was gold.

 

Im trying to justify those prices, because the nose bleeds are crazy, and I can do like 3 AEW shows + hotels for a single Rumble ticket....but man, if Big E is signalling that he's cleared and in the Rumble, I'd buy it in a heart beat. That'd be a HHH in 2002/Cena 2008 level pop...especially if Kofi is in the ring at #1 and they do Big E #2.

 

Honestly, thing Im most worried about is Woods is gonna stop doing DaParty stuff and maybe even UUDD stuff as he sells the full kayfabe. And Im gonna have to just settle for Adam Cole figuring out how the f*ck Overcooked works.

 

One of the things WWE also does better than anyone is mic'ing the ring so that you hear these moments (even if the live crowd doesnt). This is heartbreaking from E.

 

Remember like that one random night the New Day turned heel and were just attacking everyone back stage and took over raw and then like the next week they were faces again
