Jordynn Grace shortened her contract to get out...pretty sure Speedball can also walk at years end. I'd also be shocked if Joe Hendry didnt do the same thing as Jordynn and is in WWE come the Rumble. So, think they're about to have all their young/over stars walk

Im not sure if John Oliver was a wrestling fan growing up and is slowly working it in, or if enough of his crew are that they got him to do that WWE/Vince piece, but he clearly had a great time when they showed all the Stone Cold stuff.

Sounds like they are expanding their developmental program instead of actually helping independent talents.

 

That isn’t as cool as it sounds and actually follows UFC’s strategy of buying up smaller promotions to create their own pipeline to talent that doesn’t actually help those promotions, but helps them maintain control of developmental talent.

 

I don't think giving young athletes an option to move up in a job like this is the end of the world

not everyone wants to do the "making towns, 5 guys packed in a car, hot dog and a handshake" bullshit of small time indie wrestling
