That was a fun, spot fest. Have to put the Callis family over as it’s been a face heavy night and you need to keep the heat on them until you can pay these feuds off.

 

I agree, but I’m glad they didn’t. We get Dynamite in November that’ll probably have a stronger card than last nights show. They do need to stop having Collision in the same city as the PPV’s the night before. There isn’t enough demand to justify it and it dilutes the draw for both shows. Actually thinking about it Vancouver would have been perfect for Collision. AEW has yet to go there and there’s a lot of demand for them up there. NEW has been drawing get crowds up there.

 

Never expected to not care about an ftr match but give me edge so I can go to bed lol

 

Mox is perfect as the occasional commentary guest; sort of the way they've used Callis for Takeshita matches. Definitely put him on commentary for Claudio and Yuta matches, because while half of what he'll say will just be hilarious nonsense, he drops some gems. Him getting JR to say that Danielson gets his ass kicked all the time but never quits was perfect

 

The Sammy stuff feels like "we needed filler for a few months" stuff; cause he's working the opposite of the character he worked going into DoN in that 4-way. Hoping Garcia doesnt get drug into it. Its ultimately just a vehicle for Kenny v Takeshita to put Tak over.

I know the history isnt there, but man, Jungle Boy would have benefited from Callis way more than Sammy.

 

Needed to just make Ricky/Yuta the main of Collision last night, and maybe also not have done a 90-min pre-show to boot.

 

Wheeler landed right on his elbow with a very audible fuck just then lol. Oof.
