i thought for sure DIY won the tag titles to set up a hometown PLE match for Gargano, they better get on the preshow or something

 

I had to rewind that at least three times to see what the hell it was. Almost looked like a flying shoulder bump.

 

Well they’re about to get fed to Fatu & Tama Tonga.

 

I was thinking this as well, I like the old school feel of it. The Seth as ref is the only blunder, has to be a buffer for Punk as I’m guessing that he’s not 100%.

I would have thought the Wyatt Sicks would have made the card with that match, but I like that they are saving it for Raw.

 

I don’t think Seth as the ref is a blunder imo. Adds intrigue for me

 

Either Trips wants them to be TV titles or he doesn’t consider them important enough to be on PLEs, which is partly due to injuries and him just booking the division poorly (mostly Raw’s). This Friday’s match should definitely be on the Summerslam card considering The Bloodline is involved.

Yeah I think the Owner has had some hard times in his personal life. It’s also incredibly hard to put on stacked indie cards compared to 5-10 years ago. Prestige has very much taken that spot on the West Coast but their cards are nowhere near as stacked as PWG cards were.

 

I was gonna say, looking at the tag champs, neither team is at the level of getting a PPV match...but they're perfect pre-show fodder. RAW belts going back and forth between JD and Awesome Truth kind of tells you the level that belt is at; and I kind of assume DIY are gonna die on Friday.

 

Even if they wanted to run a show, both their venues are gone.

 

I'd hate to see DIY drop the belts this soon. I think an interference from someone will help them retain though

 

pwg is inactive bc super dragon is caring for his wife who is undergoing severe cancer treatment. if/when they return we won't know until they post randomly on twitter that there's gonna be a new event. saw some of the best matches ever in person at pwg shows, hope everything works out for their family

 

west coast pro is the indy out here that has been killing it lately

 

I'm so jealous of all the West Coast indies. Or really any indies in general. Michigan doesn't really get that much. Billie Starkz did get announced for a small women's promotion though, so at least there's that.

 

His list of rules makes me think it might be an overbooked mess (think the AJ/KO matches with Shane and D-Bry)...but, hopefully they get it right

 

The WCPW, Prestige, DPW alliance is pretty sweet. Love seeing all of the companies share talent and give regional stars spotlight in different areas of the country.

 

i would hope they stretch out the punk / mcintyre feud to bad blood and get a sweet hell in a cell match outta them

 

I hope there's actual blood to come out of that feud. Not the Halloween blood Punk used on that one SD lol

 

Honestly they should just let Drew/Punk just beat the actual shit out of each other

 

I have no issues with it being an overbooked mess as long as they pull it off the right way. Honestly Seth fucking over Punk would be the right move tbh.

 

Im totally down with Seth cackling away as they beat the hell out of each other; thats honestly what it should be based on how he fits into it. I just worry it becomes the "Seth takes a bump and turns on that guy....takes another bump turns on other guy" kind of story that gets old fast.
