Yeah that finish was awesome. Such a fun show

 

There was a Joe Hendry parody sign at the Stanley Cup Final last week & that’s the best wrestling crossover I’ll ever see.

 

Just saw this; maybe the best version of that type of finish (heel sneaks in to win after a spree of finishes + accidental pin by knocked out guy) I've ever seen. Also maybe the only way to give Page a win at the time

 

Bless her heart, she's clearly trying to be the Ricochet/AJ style person of the womens division. That 450 clothesline is so much more impractical than her avalanche backflip RKO, but its also something I've never seen.

Though someone has gotta coordinate ring gear in NXT and not tell them to wear near-similar shades of red

 

Happy for Ethan Page. Very very much deserved.

 

I have barely been watching, but I assumed they were building up to KO and Orton vs The Tongans

man i really loved Sami/Bron. i think that match did so much for both guys, and Cole's commentary after the bell was great. Sami is getting a much bigger push than i felt he would after he exited the Bloodline story and there is no underdog component, he is just fuckin beating dudes that he would only beat with tricks and rollups or the occasional david/Goliath bullshit in other eras. that match and the Forbidden Door main event were both so satisfying

Bron is not saddled with an undefeated streak and i think his habit of 60mph sprints will be a great Achilles heel for him a la Miros neck. this is how you do monsters

 

He was good but Je'von Evans was easily the highlight

 

this is basically MJF's entire gimmick right now and it sucks that he just backtracked into his old schtick

I was surprised that he just beat him but the veteran getting one over on the overconfident kid is classic storytelling & is perfect for Sami right now. They can get 2-3 more matches out of these guys before moving on.

something's whack on the peacock app on this vizio smart tv, can barely hear the commentary at all

 

the counter to Sol's finisher was sick. just slam her down. makes sense!

I agree with @GrantCloud that there's several spots that look sloppy/timing is off/whatever

 

right and tbh I was just casually watching that match since I was doing shit around the house, i guess i just saw the bad spots lol
